In 1915, two brothers - James and John Bigham - founded what would become one of Florida's largest trucking companies; J B Hwy & Company Incorporated. In 1927, they purchased adjacent land to build what would become known as Zocalo Racetrack which has now been renamed I-4 Speedway. JB Hwy & Company eventually became one of Florida’s leading agricultural retailers and operated both stores and racetracks until its bankruptcy in 1984 which led to its closure throughout much of central Florida but also spawned several small businesses that continue to operate today including 7-Eleven store located off US 19 between SR 527N and SR 54W just east of apopka village US highway 20 exit 8L
