The United States Air Force (USAF) deploys a wide variety of gift items each year in order to support and celebrate the military. This year, the USAF deployed a range of gifts for the Military Academy at West Point. One of the unique aspects of the USAF gift program is that it allows for airmen and women from throughout the military to contribute their time and talent to make something special for those who serve. This year, squadron members from two different wings contributed their time to create a custom-made book cover for Cadet Michael Sobal’s class book. The cover features an image of Cadet Sobal, his staff sergeant, and an F-15E Eagle Strike Fighter aircraft. The Squadron's dedication and patriotism is finally being appreciated by someone outside of just themselves! Another unique aspect to this year's USAF Gift Program was that items were donated by civilians as well as active duty members. This included a set of sunglasses designed by US Army Special Forces troops stationed in Afghanistan, as well as family-friendly collectibles such as plush animals and dolls made by local children during December's Christmas season. These efforts not only show how much appreciation the USAF has for our servicemen and women but also illustrate just how important it is that we all show support through our actions - whether it be through donations or simply shared words/pictures/videos!

Texarkana is a city in Pulaski County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 7,811 at the 2010 census. It is the smallest city in Pulaski County and one of the fastest-growing cities in Arkansas. Texarkana is located on the Arkoma River just south of Little Rock. The first settlers to what is now Texarkana were white men from Kentucky who came through Arkansas in 1836 as part of the Texas–Mexico War. They named their new town after General Sam Houston's home state, Texas. The town became a railroad junction and saw some growth during World War II as ammunition plants were built there. In 1960, when Interstate 20 was built through rural Pulaski County, parts of Texarkana became incorporated into Little Rock and its suburbs; however, many people still considered Texarkana their home town because it has been slowly growing back since then. In 2000, Texarkana annexed much of nearby Jonesboro to form a new city with a population of over 100,000 people (it had been less than 10,000). This annexation made Texarkana one of the fastest-growing cities in Arkansas by percentage increase since 1990s. Today's downtown district features many shopping centers and restaurants as well as banking institutions such as Wells Fargo & Co., US Bancorp., Servicemart Inc., JBS Foods LLC., Tyson Foods Inc., Pinnacle Coal Corporation, Delta Airlines Corporation and Wal-Mart Supercenter USA (now Sam's Club). The city also includes two large parks: Fort Worth Park & Waterfront Recreation Area near Interstate 30 north of downtown and Harriman Park adjacent to I-20 east of downtown
The Air Force has been deploying gifts to people and organizations for many years now. The Air Force's gift history can be traced back to the early days of the USAF when Gift Certificates were first flown into Southwest Asia in support of Operation Desert Storm. Since then, the USAF has sent out over 1 million gifters across all branches of service! In 1992, the USAF organized its first Command and Control Conference (CCC) which was attended by top leaders from air forces all around the world. This event marked a turning point for gift giving within the USAF as it helped standardized giftgiving protocols and created a foundation for future CCCs. Since then, various initiatives have been initiated to keep Air Force members and their families up-to-date with new technology and innovation within the military aviation community. These initiatives have included: Airman One Updates, Flight Simulator Gifts, Uniform Recognition Gifts (UNG), Game Day Gifts, Black Tie Gifting Protocols & Guidelines, Technology Grants/Programmes/Events etc.

The Air Force had previously deployed gifts such as birthdays, Christmas, and Mothers Day, but this was the first time that Gifts were sent specifically to families.
Texarkana is a town in Pulaski County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 2,691 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Little Rock–North Little Rock-based Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first white person to settle in Texarkana was Ephraim Hinson in 1839. The first post office was established in 1853 and the first school was built in 1854. In 1865, Texarkana became a county seat and the name changed to Texarkana, Arkansas on April 14 of that year. The population reached 3,000 by 1880 but decreased to 1,848 by 1910 due to various factors including high levels of crime and economic decline. In 1930, oil exploration began near Texarkana and within two years it had become one of the most vital businesses in the community. In 1935, construction began on what would be known as "the White House" – an apartment building now known as "The White House Inn". At this time Texarkana's economy shifted from agriculture to industry and services which has led to its current status as one of the most vibrant small towns in America. Today Texarkana continues its 21st century resurgence with growth in retail sales (mainly tourism) and business development into new industries such as health care and technology says Mayor Don Armstrong who also oversees local government affairs for both townspeople and Arkansans statewide

The Arkansas Air National Guard (AANG) is an airmen's militia responsible for the defense of the state. With more than 160,000 active duty enlisted members and civilians on staff, the AANG has a wide range of capabilities. These include parachuting and flying search and rescue missions; providing weather warnings to residents in central Arkansas; providing security for religious events; manning airports; and more. The AANG also provides support to local law enforcement agencies by deploying airmen as officers or troopers.
