She made port at Yokosuka Naval Base before proceeding to Truk Island where she disembarked her troops and supplies onMarch 1st. The ship then proceeded to Eniwetok Atoll where she disembarked her servicemen April 9th. She returned to Pearl Harbor May 7th and decommissioned thereon October 15th, 1942.

The town was founded in 1885 by Quakers as a retirement community for their ministers and other religious leaders. The first post office was established in 1887. In 1902, Siloam Springs became the county seat of Pulaski County. Siloam Springs had a population of 2,392 at the 2000 census. At that time it was the fastest-growing municipality in Pulaski County and is now one of its most populous townships with over 9,000 residents according to2010 Census estimates.
