This installation provided real-time situational intelligence for Allied forces fighting in Europe during World War II . 2) Today's KC-135 Stratotanker Aircraft were first operational with USAF Squadron 141 at RAF Mildenhall in England on February 11th 1956 . 3) The Boeing 707 entered service with USAAF Forces Korea on September 15th 1950 . 4) In 1957, U SAAFUnit 555 became Detachment 1 (Washington D C ) for Headquarters Command assignment providing aerial refueling support within Republic Of China Air Force during Chinese Civil War . 5) On November 17th 1958 detachment 2 (Beijing ,China), attached wing 316 (UH-1D Huey Helicopter Service detachment), began operations supporting Republic Of China Air Force KMT Defense Army Ground Forces Units located near Beiping AB !!!!!!!!! 6) On December 16th 1958 detachment 3 became detachment 307(Fighter squadron 311/314 US ANG at Iwakuni AB Japan), responsible for ground attack missions against various Kuomintang Militias located near Beiping AB
