The first artisan coffee shop in Conway, Arkansas was opened in 1984 by Don and Karen Stager. The store was located on the corner of North Main and West Second Streets. At that time, Conway was a small town with only a few hundred residents. However, the Stagers were able to bring some of the best quality coffee beans from around the world to their shop. They became known for their delicious Ethiopian-style coffee and Keurig coffee machines. In 1990, Don Stager passed away but his wife Karen continued to operate the shop until her death in 2006. After Karen's death, Don's son Bryan took over running the business. In 2013, Bryan sold the business to Entrepreneur Coffee Company LLC which operated it as an independently owned business until it closed in 2019.
Conway is a small, unincorporated community in Union County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 1 at the 2010 census. It lies near the intersection of U.S. Route 50 and Arkansas Highway 912, about northeast of Little Rock. The name Conway comes from John Conway, an early settler in what is now Union County and one of the founders of Little Rock. The original post office was established in 1881, and was called "Conway". The name change to "Conway" after James A. Conway who donated land for the town square in 1907. The community has two churches - First Methodist Church and Second Baptist Church which both serve as civic centers for the town. There are also several businesses including a bank, grocery store, sheriff's department headquarters, doctor's office and a few homes. There are also several public schools within walking distance including Central High School and North Little Rock High School which offer secondary education as well as pre-kindergarten through 12th grade curriculums with many electives options such as arts & crafts classes or health/fitness classes; however only Central offers athletics programs (football, basketball etc.). Conway is also home to some farmland that is used for cattle raising although this activity has been largely replaced by tourism over the years due to its close proximity to downtown Little Rock and other attractions in Arkansas

Conway, who served as Confederate general during the American Civil War. The town was incorporated in 1907.
Conway was founded in 1821 by Increase C. Conway, a U.S. Senator from Arkansas who also served as the state's first governor. The town was named for Conway's father, who had earlier helped settle the area. In 1844, the town became a county seat of Benton County and was renamed Conway after its founder. In 1851, it incorporated as a city and remains so to this day. In 1907, the city consolidated with nearby Pine Bluff to form Bentonville; however, Conway retains its own government and economy separate from Bentonville. The population of Conway peaked at 15,000 in 1960 but has since declined due to various factors such as loss of jobs in the medical industry and suburban development in surrounding counties. As of 2018, the population is below 10,000 people again
