The United States Air Force (USAF) is one of the largest and most powerful air forces in the world. The USAF was founded on August 29, 1947, when the US Congress passed a resolution proclaiming that the USAF should be established as an independent operational service within the military. This resolution also authorized establishment of a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to provide space exploration services. The first AFB built in Cabot, Arkansas, was Camp Lemonnier in 1949. Since then, over 375 bases have been constructed or renovated across America and around the world. In Cabot alone, we have built 5 AFBs- Andrews AFB (1964), Beale AFB (1972), Elmendorf AFB (1983), Fairchild AFB (1999), and Dyess AFB (2006). Air Force One has been used on more occasions than any other type of aircraft in history. It has been flown 3 times from Washington D.C., once to Cairo, Egypt for Operation Desert Storm in 1991; once to Honolulu for the Olympic Games in 1992; and again for President George H.W. Bush’s funeral procession from Arlington Cemetery to Stroudsburg Cemetery following his death on December 14th, 1994. The last time Air Force One was used was for a flypast of American Diamond Flight at RAF Mildenhall near London on July 26th 2016 as part of England’s festive season celebrations

The Cabot Air Force Base gift history can go back to during World War II when the base was opened. It has been through many different hands since then, with some memorable gifts and years. In 1984, the Cabot AFB gift shop was founded. This store is still in operation today and sells a variety of military supplies, clothing, and other items for use by members of the USAF. The store is open every day from 9am to 5pm. In 1992, an aircraft hangar was built on the base and it became known as the "Hanger of Champions." This facility allowed for more storage space for planes and made it easier for the air force to keep track of its equipment. In 2006, a new gymnasium was constructed on the base and it became known as "The Gym." It offers a variety of programs that help maintain fitness levels within the USAF community.
Cabot is a town in Pulaski County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 2,824 at the 2010 census. It is the seat of Pulaski County and the home of Cabot Middle School. The first settler in what is now Cabot was Charles Goodnight who removed to this area from Illinois in 1836. He named his property "Goodnight's Ferry". A post office was established here in 1838, and remained open until it closed in 1902. In 1851, John Cranch moved to this area from Kentucky and platted this land as "Cranch's Ferry" on account of its similarity to Kentucky's "Cordova Ferry". A post office operated here from 1856 until 1902. In 1903, Gurney Hinton built a Temperance Hall which became an important center for religious expression during the early 20th century. It served as a meeting place for Methodist ministers and their congregations for over fifty years before being destroyed by fire in 1951. In 1978, it was restored and functioned as an educational center again until it burned down once again in 2001. After many years of research by several local organizations including the Arkansas History Center and the Pulaski County Historical Society, Cabot Middle School opened its doors on November 4th, 2006 with help from grants awarded by the state legislature through ARCHIVESConnections Incorporated (ACHI). The $10 million dollar project included a new building that seated 340 students inside and out along with two related outdoor classrooms used for baseball/softball practice; weightlifting; track & field; art; music; physical education; world languages classes; snack bar/diner services (including movie theater); robotics lab; libraryworkshop(s) ; courtyard garden with interpretive markers explaining slave trade history & culture.; gift shop.; museum facility complete with original furnishings!

Cabot is a small town in Pulaski County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 2,632 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Pulaski County. The first white settlers in Cabot were George and Mary Aiken who came from Massachusetts in 1836. They built a log cabin on the site which still stands today. In 1838–39, James Hickey settled near Cabot and began raising crops and grazing livestock. He also built a sawmill and gristmill in what is now downtown Cabot. By 1840, several other farmers had moved into the area and started to cultivate corn, peas, beans, wheat, cottonseed oil and cattle. In 1845–46 Daniel Boone arrived in Arkansas with his family from Kentucky to survey land for prospective settler groups. He noted that there was much potential for development around Cabot Creek where he located his farmstead on the north side of the creek about one mile east of present-day downtown Cabot. In 1852 Isaac Newton became head clerk of Pisgah County court after being appointed by Governor John Cranch as an assistant justice of the peace for Pulaski County (the first judicial office created in Arkansas). Newton began serving as clerk over three years before he resigned to become involved with politics full-time. When Jeptha Bowen was elected governor on November 3rd,1855 – only two weeks after becoming governor – Newton offered to replace Bowen if he could be given electioneering duties within state government instead of carrying out executive orders from Bowen’s desk as clerk; this offer led toBowen giving him control over all state government operations including elections until 1857 when Reconstruction ended following US Civil War victory over Confederate forces at Robert E Lee's Battle of Gettysburg
Cabot was founded in 1827 by John Cabot and his brother, Nathaniel. The town grew rapidly due to its location on the Arkansas River and its natural resources. In 1844, Cabot became a county seat and began to attract attention from outside of Arkansas. The town's success led to the founding of businesses such as Sears & Roebuck, Coca-Cola, and Pepsi-Cola. In 1925, the town merged with nearby White Sands to form White Sands City.
