As Arkansas' largest city, Benton has a rich coffee history. The first coffee shop in Benton was opened in 1872 by J.B. White and his brother-in-law, W.H. Wickham, who also ran the grocery store on Main Street. The White Coffee Shop was one of the first places people would go to get their morning caffeine fix. In 1922, Mr. and Mrs. Hargrave opened the Hogtown Cafe on Railroad Avenue, which is still in business today as a restaurant/café with a wide variety of coffee drinks and pastries available for purchase or take out. Arkansas’ coffee culture truly started when two men from Benton decided to open their own coffee shop in 1948 – Harry Smith and John Healey both worked at the Smith Coffee House before opening Hogtown Café (now known as Pee Wee's Pizza). At first, Hogtown café served only local residents and military personnel stationed in Benton; however, later on it became popular for locals and tourists alike to stop by for a cup of Joe every morning during the summertime (the earliest record of any tourist spot serving java can be found in an article from 1950). Eventually, other small businesses followed suit throughout Benton until there were now more than 20 different cafes located throughout town – all with their own unique menus and everyday specials that made them stand out from the rest. So much so that even today some of these cafes continue to serve classic Americano coffees while others offer more innovative drinks such as Ethiopian Palo Alto or Guatemalan Quetzalcoatlus - perfect for those who love creative ingredients! The success of Hogtown Café led to numerous other businesses starting up throughout Benton over the years – many of which remain unchanged to this day due to their loyal following among locals and tourists alike! Some notable mentions include: The Arkadelphia Coffee House (now closed), The Gilded Cage (closed after several years), Mr.'s Place (opened in 1984 but closed within months due to fire), The Corner Office(now closed), Steel Cage Coffee(currently operates as Airstream) & Company(opened 2007), Mighty Mike's Place(opened 2007) & Coffeepot USA(opened 2008). It should also be noted that not allof these businesses have lasted through multiple iterations; some have simply ceased operations entirely due To poor economics or changing customer preferences! In recent years, there have been efforts made by local organizations such as Arkansas Coffee Association (ACA) & Arkansas Brewers Guild (ABG) to support artisanal coffee shops throughout our state by helping promote them locally and providing marketing assistance along with training opportunities for employees involved in each establishment. One particularly successful project occurred last year when ACA donated $5K worth of beans directtoconsumer towards new artisanal coffee roasters within our state - resulting in 2 new independent stores popping up just outside Of Memphis – Blue Bottle Coffee & Cider Bar inside University Mall mall & Dooley's Grocery inside Ballpark Village!!! This demonstrates just how widespread demand currently exists for quality artisanal coffee around our state' However despite this progressivism being evident amongstlocal organizations (' success stories abound!), it seems like there are still many areas where we need TO do better… specifically Regarding economic development!

There are many different types of artisan coffee, but four main styles are French press, espresso, Turkish-style coffee, and cortado. The French press is the most popular type of artisan coffee because it produces a smooth and Robust flavor. The French Press has many receptors in the cup that allow for complex flavors to develop evenly throughout the cup. This style can be difficult to create unless you have experience working with a french press. Espresso is another popular type of artisan coffee because it delivers a strong flavor and great caffeine levels. Espresso requires more time in the brewing process than other types of artisan coffees so it takes some skill to get great results. However, if you enjoy strong flavors and good caffeine levels then espresso may be what you are looking for. Turkish-style Coffee is another popular style which often combines roasted beans from different regions into one drinkable product. Turkish-style Coffee usually has lighter body and brighter flavors than other styles of artisan coffee. This style can be difficult to recreate without experiencing the recipe firsthand so it’s important to learn how to make this type of coffee before trying it out yourself! Cortado is also an option for making artisan coffee, but it differs from regular cortados in that instead of being folded into thirds like regular cortados, Cortados are typically cut into thin slices and served as dessert cups or breakfast items. Cortado offers unique flavor possibilities because each slice provides its own unique experience when enjoyed alone or with milk or cream added later on
As the population of Benton, Arkansas grew in the late 1800s, many residents set out to learn how to make their own coffee. One such resident was John Dooley, who opened a small shop in 1892. Over time, Dooley became well-known for his quality and unique coffee products. He also helped develop the local market and gave rise to numerous Coffee lovers groups throughout the area.
Benton, Arkansas is a city in Pulaski County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 1,823 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Pulaski County. Benton is home to Rockhurst University and the Arkansas Valley Railroad Museum. The history of Benton goes back to 1871 when a group of businessmen from Decatur established a post office in what is now Benton. The town grew rapidly and by 1880 had a population of 3,000 people. By 1887, the town had become an incorporated municipality with its own government and court system. In 1902, Benton became known as "the birthplace of the Cotton Gin." In 1911, it became possible for citizens to purchase land east of downtown for development into what would become the current city limits. This led to growth within the city limits as well as new businesses being opened up in areas outside of downtown that would come to be known as "the Quadrangle". In 1978, part of downtown was torn down and replaced with a shopping mall which has continued to grow in popularity ever since.

Benton is a town in Pulaski County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 3,902 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Little Rock–North Little Rock– AR Metropolitan Statistical Area. Benton was founded by Captain John Sibley on December 12, 1872. The town's first post office opened in 1875. The community of Bentonville was established adjacent to Benton in 1887 and prospered as a small rural community until it became an incorporated city in 1945 when most of Pulaski County became organized into metropolitan areas. In 1970, the city annexed the unincorporated communities of Eastwood and Libertyville which had numerical populations greater than that of either Benton or Pulaski County combined. In 1971, more than half a century after its founding, Benton became one of only two towns in Arkansas with ZIP code 72234 (the other being Arkadelphia). As such, it has long been home to many businesses and residents who commute to North Little Rock or other larger cities located within Arkansas' statewide metropolitan area.

A post office called Benton was established in 1839, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1906. At the time of its establishment, Benton had a population of just six people. By 1880, the population had grown to about 100 people. In 1907, Benton became a city after being approved by the Arkansas General Assembly. In 1912, John Henniker built what is now the Henniker Store on Main Street in downtown Benton. The store was one of several businesses that thrived during this time period as businessmen began to invest in new technology and transportation within town limits. This investment allowed for growth within Benton as well as within Pulaski County overall; by 1920, there were over 200 businesses operating within downtown Benton alone! During World War II, many residents of Benton enlisted into military service both online and off-site; this wartime mobilization helped contribute to an increase in local business activity which continued through the war years into 1946 when hostilities ended nationwide! In 1950-1951, construction began on what would become known as "the world's largest shopping mall"; at its completion two years later (in 1955), "The Mall" boasted more than 2 million shoppers across 16 floors! During the 1960s and 1970s following significant economic development within and outside of town Limits due to oil production throughout much of Arkansas (and nearby Mexico), Bendon experienced rapid growth; by 1990-1991 it had reached its current size with over 2200 residents! This recent growth has led to increased traffic congestion which has caused some inconvenience for those living within town limits but also offers opportunities for expansion into adjacent areas including portions of north Little Rock!
