During both world wars, USS Constitution sailed along side some of America’s favorite warships such as HMS Gloucester and HMS Warrior; however her heaviest involvement came during World War II when she served as flagship for President Franklin D Roosevelt during his victory over Japan at Midway Island off Hawaii on June 6th 1944). A total of 487 sailors died aboard USS Constitution during World War II (including 32 who drowned while trying to leave her after Japan bombed Pearl Harbor). She is also survived by three Naval Aviator pilots who flew her between 1945-1948 while she provided combat support for operations in Korea and Vietnam

Talladega is a town in Cherokee County, Alabama, United States. The population was 1,872 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Cherokee County. Talladega was founded in 1836 by General Andrew Jackson and named after his mentor and friend, Talladega Mountain. In 1939, the town became an incorporated municipality under the name of Talladega-Auburn-Montgomeryville. In 1972, it again became an unincorporated community. The first post office in Talladega was established on January 7, 1836 by George Witherspoon and Samuel Sudduth. The present Post Office building was built in 1903 and serves as the current office for Cherokee County. The original town site lay along what is now US 41/59 south of Alcoa Street between Clarksville Road and State Route 209 east of Montgomeryville Avenue; this area has since been annexed by neighboring Auburn University's campus. The first school in Talladega was opened in 1837 by Rev Elisha Butterfield; it served as a small academy until 1840 when Instruction began at nightfall with ten students enrolled from four homes whose parents had contributed $120 each towards its construction From 1840 to 1845 there were three schools: one operated by Mr Butterfield (later converted into a Methodist church), another run by Dr Wilkinson (later upgraded to a Baptist church), and still another for girls operated by Mrs Henson who raised money from subscription subscriptions alone . And here’s where things get interesting – not only did these teachers have to share space with other citizens but also with animals which often included pigs Slaughtering time around early 1800s many families didn’t have access to fresh meat so they would have to go months or even years without eating anything other than pork products
