Mobile, Alabama is a city in the U.S. state of Alabama and the county seat of Montgomery County. The population was 2,554 as of the 2010 census. Mobile is located on Gulf Coast Highway (U.S. Route 231) about 25 miles south of Birmingham, Alabama and 50 miles north of Pensacola, Florida.
