At that time, a group of officers from different law enforcement agencies pooled their resources and donated items they had in stock. The store began as a small, operated garage sale. It quickly grew into an annual event where police officers and civilians alike could come together to purchase gifts for each other. In 1990, the department moved to its current location on East State Street. Since then, the gift shop has become one of the department’s most popular attractions with its unique collection ofpolice memorabilia and tools.
Eufaula, Alabama is a small town in the state of Alabama, United States. The population was 992 at the 2010 census. It is located in Clarke County. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 2.1 square miles (5 km²), all land. The townsite of Eufaula was first settled by white settlers in 1837. In 1860, Eufaula became an incorporated municipality and was renamed after beautiful Eufaula Lake, which lies within its boundaries. The community's name comes from one of the first black Americans to reside in Alabama- Ebenezer Baptiste Epps, who had come to live in Mobile before moving his family to Eufaula in 1868. Everett Hargrave built a post office on what is now Railroad Avenue in 1840 and named it "Everett". In 1865, Howard Capps organized a group of farmers that purchased land east of Everett for what would become Eufaula Township or "East End" as it was commonly called until 1907 when it became part of Clarke County In 1907, East End became part of Upson Parish when that parish was created from parts of Mobile and Baldwin counties In 1930, East End itself became a separate municipality under name "Everett", but reverted back to its original name two years later Beginning around 1900 some people started growing corn on their property west of Railroad Avenue whereupon they gave this new address: Post Office Rd., Corn Belt

The result of this meeting was the creation of the Policemen’s Benevolent Association (PBA). In 1922, The London Evening Standard published an article about a new type of policeman gift called the “Police Radio Set”. This set consisted of a radio receiver and transmitter which could be used by officers to listen to radio programs while on duty. It was also possible for officers to communicate with other units in the same area through this set.

Eufaula, Alabama was founded in 1819 by the Mobile and Pensacola Railroad. It became a city in 1907 and was named for General Eufaula Lewis, who helped lead the Confederate army during the American Civil War. The city is located on the Gulf of Mexico between Mobile and Pensacola. The first settler in Eufaula was Elias Hodge. He built a cabin on land he purchased from the Choctaws. In 1822, Hodge married Rebecca Key. They had six children: John, James, Margaret, Rachelle, and Emmett. In 1824, Hodge sold his land to unknown investors for $200. The next year, he bought another piece of land from the same group of investors for $400 more than they had paid him for his first piece of land. This purchase added over 4 miles (6 km) to the original town site. In 1830, Isaac Carden purchased some additional property from Hodge for $350 cash plus 10 acres (4 ha). Carden built a small cabin on this property but did not start living there until after he met Mary Whitehead which would later become his wife. whitehead also founded what is now known as First Baptist Church in Eufaula in 1830-31 under the name "Moses Whitehead." Reverend Samuel Morse started services at that church on July 7th 1830 before moving it to its current location two years later on October 5th of that year when Methodists were first allowed intoMobile County through an act passed by Congress known as The Act of November 3rd1830." Reverend Morse served as pastor at First Baptist Church until 1840 when he moved to Tuskegee where he continued serving until his death in 1865." Emmett Key Hodge inherited Reverend Samuel Morse's church building which still stands today inside First Baptist Church off US Highway 90 just east of downtown Eufaula.- Edna Keyes Searcy When Reverend Samuel Morse died in 1840 due to natural causes however family members decided not to sell or move his remains so they remain within their former home which still stands today inside First Baptist Church off US Highway 90 just east of downtown Eufaula.– Adaline Morse Searcy
Eufaula, Alabama was founded by the Choctaw people in 1827. The town became a center of cotton production after the area was developed as a result of the General Custer Campaign in 1876. The town experienced significant growth during World War II due to its proximity to戦後アメリカ軍事工場 and its role in the Battle of Peachtree River. Eufaula experienced significant decline following the war, but has since resumed its growth as a commercial and cultural center.
