Additionally, recent development has included several smaller commerical districts within walking distance of downtown including Kingman Square (), Central Park () and McClendon Park (). The Historic District of Downtown Auburn encompasses more than 150 buildings located along three blocks main streets - Anacostia Avenue northward to Gaylord Ave., Beechwood Avenue eastward to Interstate 20 southward through downtown into Midtown Atlanta proper(),and SpringHill Boulevard eastward all the way across central Atlanta towards Gadsden County Road 10() where it rejoins Anacostia Avenue near Peachtree Center Mall
