The Coast Guard Auxiliary of Two Rivers, Wisconsin was formed in 1934. The Auxiliary is a volunteer organization that provides support to the local coast guard. In 1948, the Auxiliary became a part of the United States Coast Guard. The Auxiliary is responsible for providing protection and assistance to coastal communities and shorelines in Wisconsin. Two Rivers is a town in the U.S. state of Wisconsin, located on the north side of Green Bay. The population was 8,826 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Janesville–Waukesha metropolitan area. The name Two Rivers comes from two forks in the river: One fork runs along the east bank and forms the border with Manitowoc County, while another fork flows into it from the west and forms Polk County. The first settlement in what is now Two Rivers was called "Emmonsville" because Emmons Brothers owned most of land thereabouts. A post office called "Two Rivers" was established in 1854, but it failed to take hold and was abandoned in 1857. In 1868, John Hoadley purchased a tract of land east of present-day Two Rivers from David Dixon for $1,000 and set about building an irrigation system that would bring water to his farmsteads and later to other farmer's properties around him. By 1870, Hoadley had built six homes and laid out a village on his property which he named after himself - Two Rivers Village. In 1871, he married Anna Maria Lapp who came from Menomonee Falls (now part of Milwaukee). They raised eight children before AnnaMaria died in 1903 at age 71; John took care of their children until their father's death in 1922 aged 72 years; then they became guardian ad litem for their remaining three children until 1948 when they were adopted by their brother Harry Lapp (1906-1982) Sr.. Hoadley Boulevard serves as a main commercial thoroughfare through town today connecting Highway 30N/U with Highway 162/U outside Janesville proper while Main Street continues northeast as an agricultural main street linking various farms and businesses including a grocery store (the only one still open today), several churches (including United Methodist), three banks - First National Bank, State Bank & Trust Company & Guaranty Association - all closed within recent years when automation brought more competition to rural economic communities like these Moose Jawoisters like ours such as those along I-94 corridor just south of Green Bay
The Coast Guard has been providing service to the nation since 1790. In 1937, the Coast Guard was reorganized as a separate branch of the United States government. The Coast Guard’s mission is to protect America’s coasts and waterways, support maritime operations, and promote safety for all Americans. Today, the Coast Guard operates over 1,000 ships and boats including coastal patrol vessels (CPV), lifeboats (LBP), harbor security vessels (HSV), search and rescue helicopters (ARSH), and oceanographic research submarines (ORS). Additionally, the Coast Guard provides an emergency response to incidents on land or in water that could affect maritime commerce or threaten publicsafety. In 2013 alone, the Coast Guard responded to more than 2,500 incidents across its jurisdictional area. Incidental activity includes everything from fishing operations to vessel traffic violations. In each case, our officers and crews are dedicated to making sure everyone involved is treated fairly while they investigate or address the issue.

Two Rivers was established in 1827 by two men, David and Solomon Holbrook. They named the river after their home town of Two Rivers, PA. The name stuck and the town prospered until the late 1800s when it lost its status as a center for agriculture to Wisconsin. However, Two Rivers has always been an important community in Wisconsin history because of its location on the Fox River. The first settlers to Two Rivers were William Beavers and his family who arrived in 1829. Beavers built a log cabin that is still standing today on the banks of the river. In 1831, John Davenport arrived with his family and began farming near present-day Waukesha County. Davenport's farm became known as Devil's Lake due to the fact that he used logs to build his house! In 1834, James Prentice arrived from England with his family and started a mill at present-day Eau Claire which became one of the largest mills in Wisconsin. Prentice later moved his mill downriver to Two Rivers where he built another large mill which still stands today. The Mill Dam was built downstream of Prentice's mill in 1904 to help improve water flow into the river during high water season. After years of decline, Two Rivers emerged as an important industrial center during World War II due to its position on land available for war production. Many companies such as GEICO, Milwaukee Road, Ford Motor Company, General Electric Company and Boeing Corporation were located there including United Aircraft Manufacturing Plant #1 (later Boeing plant number 5). The plant produced planes such as B-24 Liberator bombers and USS Enterprise carriers! After World War II ended, most industry left Two Rivers but some remained such as UAW Local 399 which operates a museum at old Northrop Grumman factory site today!
The two rivers that make up the Milwaukee-Waukesha County region were named for George Washington and Marquette. The first white person to visit what is now Milwaukee was Jean Nicolet in 1638, who named it "Nemo usque ad mare" (from the original French meaning "to the sea until past the mouth of the river"). The name would be anglicized to Milwaukee in 1836, and Waukesha County was created from part of Racine County in 1837.
