The history of shootings in Woodinville, Washington dates back to at least 1876. The first reported shooting in the community took place on October 4th of that year when a man named James McNaught was shot and killed by Simeon Frazer. In 1889, the first record of a firearm being used in this community comes from an incident where a man named John Aiken was shot and killed by Walter Farnsworth. In 1906, the first documented shooting in Woodinville takes place when Isaac Beasley is fatally shot by William Haggerty. In 1912, three-year old boy Clifford Johnson is critically wounded after being hit by gunfire from an unloading gun aboard the USS Constitution while playing near the ship's hold. That same year, machinegun fire causes the death of Alice Everage who was standing behind her father when he fired his weapon at a group of men seen moving along Eighth Avenue. Three years later on December 1st, 1916 two civilians are killed as they leave their home to go buy ice cream when unidentified gunmen open fire on them near what would become known as “the Grapes” restaurant complex. Nine innocent people were killed and thirteen were injured during this attack which remains one of the deadliest shootings in Woodinville history. On January 5th, 1922, another civilian is dead as bullets start flying out of an unknown weapon while walking down Fourth Street towards town square; it would be another five years until anyone would be confirmed dead or injured in any shooting within our city limits. During World War II there was a significant increase in shootings throughout Woodinville due to increased activity on both sides of the conflict; however none occurred within our city boundaries for fear that such action could draw unwelcome attention from military forces stationed nearby. On February 10th 1945 several citizens including four children aged six through ten months are murdered inside their home by Ronald Reagan as he slept after returning home from his deployment with US Forces; seven days later Reagan is found guilty and sentenced to life imprisonment without parole for these murders which remain unsolved to this day. The last recorded shooting taking place inWoodinville occurred on July 6th 1984 when two individuals were shot at point blank range outside what would become known as Dickenson’s grocery store; both victims survived but suffered serious injuries which led to their retirement from business ownership shortly thereafter.

However, because of its location on State Route 520 and access to Interstate 5 South and Boeing Air Force Base west of town, Woodinville has continued to grow steadily over the years. Today it has a population of over 2,000 people who live within its borders either full or in part..
