The history of military gifts to Shoreline began with the first Naval Base in Puget Sound, Washington. The USS Olympia (BB-8) was the first ship on base and she brought along a gift for Commander David S. Yeoman, First Fleet on December 5, 1941. The gift was an American submarine called the USS San Francisco (SS-415). This submarine was donated by Vice Admiral John W. McCain, who served as Commandant of the Naval Academy at Annapolis from 1946 until his death in 1988. After Puget Sound Naval Base opened its doors in 1945, shore leave for submariners became a regular occurrence. On various occasions submarines were sent ashore with cargo or passengers for inspection or testing purposes. In 1947 Rear Admiral Harry C Eckman organized a Squadron of Submarine Cutters to give submariners an opportunity to socialize and have fun while underway. These cutters would visit local ports and conduct demonstrations of their torpedo capabilities before returning to sea at night under cover of darkness. In 1951 Rear Admiral Chester Finn organized a Squadron of Motor Torpedo Boat (MTB) Ships which gave submariners an opportunity to operate independently offshore during amphibious exercises and deployments as well as explore new areas off our coastlines including Canada and Mexico City's port city Of Mexico City Shipyards area had been built adjacent to the old munitions plant that produced munition used in World War II German U-boats were active in Mexican waters near this area sinking several ships measuring up to 150 feet long by 18 feet wide making them difficult targets for surface vessels operating against these boats when they surfaced close aboard target sites from time to time Unfortunately due eventually alsoto technological advances modern submarines such as ours can operate submerged at great depths without contact with any living thing however during Operation Neptune Spear 1968 two MTBs operated together off California coast operated jointly under command of Commander Ernest J Voorhis USN RN teamed up with Spanish Navy Ship Pinta Rata both boats sunk three ships each!Although it is now generally accepted that torpedoes are not effective against large warships when attacked from below we will never forget the tragic events associated with those early days when torpedoes were still considered America's most powerful weapon against enemy warships! On July 2nd 1950 USS San Francisco collided with SS Constitution class destroyer avoidance action taken ensued resulting in loss of life both vessels entered into personal watertight compartmentsUSS San Francisco thereupon attempted emergency landing on shore damaged but non life threatening situation relieved ship after repairs completedUSS Constitution arrived back at her station taking overcommand from flagship USS San Francisco which had been slighted again by Commander Yeoman commander Seventh Fleet during exercise Coral Sea 49 years later another naval installation consisting onlyof destroyers lost interestin providing annual holidays present thank you President George H W Bush I hope your administration continues this tradition

Shoreline is a town in King County, Washington, United States. The population was 7,593 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Seattle metropolitan area and forms the eastern border of Redmond. The village of Shoreline was organized in 1892 as a result of land sales and construction by the Puget Sound Navigation Company on what would become Harbor Island. In 1907, when Tacoma joined King County, Shoreline became part of that county as well. After World War II, development accelerated and by 1970 the population had increased to 11,000 people. By 2000 it had reached 14,000 and by 2010 it counted 17,593 residents according to the US Census Bureau. The economy of Shoreline has been based largely on agriculture since its founding; however there has been some recent growth in businesses such as software development services and real estate investment. The community also benefits from being located close to several universities including Seattle University (Seattle School District), Microsoft Research Northwest Labs (Microsoft Research Center), UW–Kingston Technical College (UW–Kingston Campus) and Lynnwood Community College (Lynnwood Campus). In addition to these larger universities there are numerous small-town or rural colleges which offer various courses leading up to university degrees in fields like science and engineering. The Village of Shoreline lies within unincorporated King County on Harbor Island east of downtown Seattle with access only via an opening in the shore line about long completed for vehicular traffic only through a pedestrian tunnel under downtown that opened December 10th 2009 with limited use due to high levels of salt water inside from annexation by Seattle during annexation process

One such country was Great Britain. In 1939, Great Britain sent over 2,000 crates of munitions and provisions directly to American soldiers stationed in France! Shoreline is a small town in Washington state, and it has been home to residents for over 150 years. The first people to live here were the Kitsap Nation, who were transferred from what is now Tacoma to the area in 1855. In 1871, Shoreline was incorporated as a village, and it remained that way until 1959. The town's history can be divided into two periods: before World War II and after World War II. During the pre-war period, Shoreline was an agricultural community with a population of around 200 people. After the war, however, things changed as industry began to grow in the area. That growth led to increased development and development pressure on the local schools; by 1925, there were only 10 students living in Shoreline Village Elementary School while its counterparts in Tacoma had more than 400 students. Homesickness became a common theme during this time; one resident recalled that "It wasn't long before we realized how hard it was going to be when our kids went off to college." Eventually though, Shoreline did manage to gain some degree of success thanks to its economy and school system - by 1958, there were multiple businesses in town and over 100 residents working in them. However, with few other opportunities open up for locals after the war ended (and due largely to automation), most of the population slowly decreased over ensuing decades. This situation changed however late last year when Google announced plans for a new project called “We Energize Washington” which would see large chunks of land surrounding Shoreline annexed into Alphabet Inc.'s Seattle headquarters campus – giving residents their own neighborhood within walking distance of their homes instead of having everything located far away across an expanse of dense urban jungle like they have always known they lived within reach! This finally provided some level of hope that their community might not completely lapse into obscurity once again but given all that has happened so far – good news indeed!
