Before there were Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts, there were small cafes that would serve up fresh roasted coffee from local roasters. The first place to really scratch that itch was Java Junction in Moses Lake, which opened its doors in 1969. At Java Junction, you could purchase single or double espresso drinks as well as pastries like croissants and donuts. It was a delicious way to start your morning. The java boom of the late 1960s and early 1970s wasn’t just limited to Moses Lake; throughout the Puget Sound area, small businesses began selling their own versions of this popular drink. These independent cafes didn’t have any windows or seating so they weren’t easy target audiences for chain restaurants like Starbucks or Dunkin' Donuts, but they did provide a taste of what life must have been like back then when you had to go out on a limb order an espresso at Java Junction just to make it through the day alive. As time went on, more chains started popping up in towns across America; however, nowhere did gourmet coffee rank higher than in Moses Lake. In fact, some might say that the city's love affair with this beverage dates back even further than that- back when Java Junction was simply the only shop open late into the night! Today there are over 20 different gourmet coffee shops scattered throughout Moses Lake- each offering their unique blend ofenezuelan beans and altamirano water technology (or "water tech"). Whether you're looking for something specific or just want some caffeine heaven all around town, these stores offer something for everyone! In 1847, George Washington Carver and his family founded the first coffee plantation in Moses Lake. The business prospered for many years, until World War I changed the coffee market. Coffee prices plummeted, and Carver was forced to sell his land and retire. However, he kept a small production operation going until the late 1940s when processed coffee became more popular.
Moses Lake is a small town in Washington County, located about 20 miles northwest of Seattle. The population was 797 at the2010 census. Moses Lake is named after the biblical Moses, who led the Israelites out of Egypt and into God's Promised Land. The community was founded in 1907 as a result of the merger of two smaller towns, Deer Park and Northport. The first housing developments were built in Moses Lake during World War I to provide housing for military personnel and their families. Today, most of the homes in the community are original pre-war dwellings that have been renovated and updated. Many of these homes still maintain their early-20th century design features, such as porches or decks that overlook lake or river water views. Moses Lake is also home to a number of churches and chapels including First Presbyterian Church, which was built in 1915; United Methodist Church, which was built in 1918; Jehovah's Witnesses Temple #1 (now known as Booker Tract Baptist), which was built in 1929; St John's Episcopal church (established 1903), which replaced an earlier parish building on File Road; Lutheranism's Bethlehem Lutheran congregation (founded 1886), which moved from its original location on Northwest Highway to its current site near Interstate 90 east of downtown Moses Lake in 1984; and Pentecostal Assemblies Bible Missionary Baptistchurch (PAST) Zion Chapel #2 (opened 1978). The community has also become known for its annual fishing tournament held each summer around Memorial Day weekend. The event features local anglers against fishermen from other communities across Washington County competing for prize money and bragging rights among themselves and with others in the area who may have participated at previous tournaments over the years.

This was because during that time, the Europeans wanted to find new ways to trade with other countries and develop new trade routes. They discovered that Argentina had a lot of valuable resources that they could use to produce beans, which led to their production becoming very popular in Europe over the next few decades. Eventually, espresso machines were developed which allowed people all over the world to enjoy this amazing drink without having to leave their kitchens! And now we can enjoy our delicious cup of Joe every day no matter where we are located!

In 1938, Italian espresso makers began producing coffee that was roasted on site. The first Starbucks opened its doors in Seattle in 1990.
Moses Lake is a small town in Washington State, located on the Deschutes River. The name Moses Lake was given to the community by early settlers because of the large and deep watercourse that ran through it. The community began as a log cabin settlement in 1872, and became an agricultural town in the 1920s. It was incorporated as a city in 1959, and now has a population of about 4,000 residents. The first settler at Moses Lake was George Armstrong Crouse. He built his cabin on the east bank of the Deschutes River in 1872. By 1874, several other families had arrived and started farming land around Moses Lake. In 1875, Arent Kautz bought some additional land from Crouse and started building what would become known as Kautz's Store. This store became one of the most important commercial operations in Moses Lake during its early years. In 1902, Jethro Stevens founded Stevens sheep-raising station near present day Moses Lake Village; this station served as an important hub for shipping wool to markets across North America. Stevens also operated a sawmill here until 1915 when it was destroyed by fire. In 1907, John Wesley Hardesty established his logging operation on adjacent land which later became known as Hardesty Rancho de la Pampa (now part of Bainbridge Island). Moses Lake experienced rapid growth following World War II when many local businesses were created to support military members stationed nearby or working in Seattle County during wartime production shortages at home. Many homes were built here during this time including Hildebrandt's Restaurant which still stands today (opened by Harry Hildebrandt in 1945). Many manufacturing businesses closed down after the war but new companies such as Cascade Lumber Inc., Microsoft Corporation and Nike Corporation were born thanks to postwar expansionism throughout Northwest Washington state In 1957, MosesLake voters passed an ordinance establishing cityhood with plans for major development including library/theater/community center/new schools/city hall/parking garage/restaurant/marketplace/. This helped establish downtown as one of the most vibrant areas within town limits today while also providing financial stability for newly formed municipal services such as public works and libraries
