Mill Creek is a tributary of the Columbia River in Washington. It rises in the Cascades Mountains and flows through the rural towns of Mill Creek, Blanchard, and North Bend. The creek has a length of about 45 miles and a width of about 12 miles. It joins the Columbia River near Wenatchee. The first Europeans to visit Mill Creek were Jesuit missionaries in 1792. They named it after Father Jean-Baptiste de Millière, who had explored the area earlier that year. The Mission Indians used Mill Creek for fishing and hunting until white men arrived in 1843. One of these men was James Kinsman, who built his ranch along the creek in 1848. The milling industry began on the east side of Mill Creek in 1865 when George Hinton started a flour mill at what is now known as Hinton Road north of Blanchard. Other mills followed suit over time, but none produced as much flour as Hinton's did. By 1907 all but one of the mills had closed down because of competition from other industries such as agriculture and mining. Only Hinton's remains today; it was destroyed by fire on April 14, 1957. Today, there are only a few small businesses leftOperating out of trailers or converted sheds located around town."

Here are a few examples: 1) Coffee was originally ground up or roasted with either animal or vegetable oils; today only a small percentage of beans are ground this way due to health concerns about human exposure to harmful chemicals (see below). 2) At various points during its history, coffee was used as an decorative item; often framed pictures of people drinking café au lait would hang opposite bedrooms in old houses! 3) The first known recipe for Coffeemaker K-Cups appeared on October 21st 1960 in How To Make Perfect Coffee by Roy Greenway (published under Random House). 4) In 1984 John Lennon famously wrote “all you need is love” while he sipped on caffeinated bliss at a New York City cafe called The Starlite Lounge
