After years of experimenting with different roast regimes and methods, they finally came up with what would become known as Koffiehoeven Roastery Criterion #1 which featured dark roasted beans from Sumatra grown under stringent conditions. 2) In 1847 Jan Baptiste Reyniers opened his own café called “Reynaert” in The Hague which was soon followed by other cafes throughout The Netherlands including Caffè Ritmo (1849), Café de la Bourse (1850), Café Excelsior (1851), Gouda & Deventer Café (1852), etc. 3) In 1855 Vincent van Gogh visited Holland for months and made some sketches during his stay that included views of Rotterdam Cathedral and The Hague Coffee House where he purchased his first set of ground beans from Jan Koffeehoorn. 4) It wasn’t until 1870 that Cafés Parisien & Rangoon opened in Paris which became one of the most famous cafés in Europe for its innovative French-roasted espresso drinks such as Moka Troisiéme Variation or Praline de Duchesse d’Aumale Latte Artisanal). 5) By 1888 Jean-Baptiste Lecoq had opened up his own café called Lecoq’s grafton which quickly became popular due to its unique flavor profile, high quality espresso drinks, fresh squeezed juices, bakery items such as croissants/pain au chocolat et meringue etc.,and stylish decor featuring Period furniture etc.) . 6) However, it wasn't until 1918 when Achille François exposed himself as oneof the world's masters at making hand-poured Arabica Beans at his La Caja del Chocolate store located in Madrid that coffee began being associated with luxury rather than mass production techniques used by industrialists like Krupp AG).
