Farmington, Utah is home to the first small batch coffee company in the United States. The Farmington Coffee Company was founded by two friends, Ron and Vicki Kappenberger, in 1984. The Kappenberger’s were inspired to start their own small business after learning about the importance of quality coffee in the community. From their first cup of coffee, they knew that they had something special on their hands. The Farmington Coffee Company has been a mainstay in the local community for over 30 years. They have been providing delicious and affordable coffee to residents of Farmington since 1984. Their motto is “quality at a price everyone can enjoy.”Today, they continue to produce high-quality beans while still offering a great value for their customers. In addition to their retail store and online presence, they also offer a wide variety of catering services including weddings and corporate events.

Farmington coffee has been around for over eighty years. The first coffee shop in Farmington was opened in 1907 by the late Mr. and Mrs. John A. Smith. The business grew rapidly, and in 1924, they built their own building on Main Street. In 1961, theSmiths sold their business to the current owners of Beans & Coffee, who continue to operate it today as a family-owned business. In 1978, Beans & Coffee introduced a new blend of beans which became popularly known as "The Big Bean". This blend remains one of their most popular products to this day.

Farmington is a city in Farmington County, Utah, United States. The population was 10,898 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Farmington County. The city is located on the edge of Price Valley and near Cache Valley. The first permanent settler in what is now Farmington was John Clements who arrived in 1799. He named his new town after his father-in-law, William radar farm in Maryland. In 1847, Amasa Fenton established a ranch east of present day Farmington and called it "Fenton's Valley." In 1861, Hiram Cannon founded the Cannon brothers grocery store and post office here which became one of the largest stores in Utah outside of Salt Lake City. From 1865 to 1870 oil was discovered in Price Valley and development began quickly around this point with numerous buildings being erected for businesses such as banks, hotels, stores and residences. The community experienced its peak during World War II when over 50% of the population served in military service including 36% serving overseas with many enlisting from miles away across country due to wartime shortages of food and housing not just within Farmington but also throughout Utah and Colorado Springs where war production took place; Storey County had 6% civilian employment during that time period while Salt Lake City had only 2%. Today there are few businesses left remaining from those times including only two churches (one closed down) as well as several houses still standing from that era which have been preserved as part of an historical district known as "OldPriceValley" within the city limits today

Farmington, Utah was founded in 1847 by John C. Fremont and his family. The first post office in Farmington was established in 1848. The town was named for Fort Douglas, which had been built on the site of the current city of Farmington in 1846. The town grew rapidly due to its location on a major trade route between Nauvoo, Illinois, and Salt Lake City, Utah. In 1860, the first school building was erected in Farmington. In 1865, the first railroad arrived in Farmington, connecting it with Salt Lake City. By 1887, there were over 100 businesses operating in Farmington. In 1916, the population of FarmINGTON reached fifty thousand people
