The history of the Coast Guard in Humble, Texas goes back to 1912. The first Coast Guard station was established at Point Comfort on the Gulf of Mexico, and it was manned by two boats. In 1916, a new station was built at Point Aransas on the Texas coast. This station became known as Fort Worth Station. In 1940, a new Coast Guard station was established at Corpus Christi. This station became known as Galveston Station. The present Coast Guardstation in Humble is located on Cypress Street near I-10. The Coast Guard spends its time enforcing maritime laws and protecting coastal communities from Illegal Immigration and acts of piracy and terrorism. The agency also provides rescue services during hurricanes and earthquakes. In addition to its duties within our jurisdictional area, the Coast Guard’s primary mission is to provide education about Maritime Safety through programs such as “Green signal for boaters” Abide by Vessel Laws & Regulations

Humble, Texas is a small town in Midland County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,878 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Dallas–Fort Worth metropolitan area. Humble is one of two towns in Midland County that are considered "ghost towns." The other town is Vernon. The community began as a post office on December 21, 1876, and became a village on July 8, 1907. Humble's name comes from local pioneer John Humble and his son-in-law Wm. Ewing Huffman (1862-1941). A year later the post office was renamed to honor millionaire oilman Harry Moulton Dodge (1863-1937), who had donated land for the village site and also funded construction of the first school in Humble. Dodge donated $10,000 to help build a sawmill within the limits of Humble Village but never used it because he bought out the original equipment operator and developed nearby Fort Worth into an important economic center during World War I. In 1927 Dodge donated another $10,000 to help pay for new schools in Vernon; these schools were named after him and his wife Cornelia Dodge Whitney (1865-1956). In 1951 residents voted not to annex neighboring Vernon due to concerns about possible flooding from nearby reservoirs caused by heavy rains that year; however this did not stop Vernon from annexing Humble on October 12 of that year following a referendum vote by residents which passed with over 60% majorities in both villages. In 1957 when Fort Worth annexed Vernon along with much of Midland County including Midland City proper there was still question whether or not either village would have been annexed if it had not been for the efforts of then Mayor Leroy Kane (1945-1974) who lobbied successfully with county leaders to get both villages incorporated into Fort Worth as they were wanted by all concerned parties save for Vernon which desired annexation only because its neighbor had annexed Humble without consulting its citizens. Even though Fort Worth ultimately annexed all three villages there remain some lingering feelings among many in each municipality regarding their respective incorporation decisions: most notably among those who lived in Hullabaloo until 1970 when it merged with Arlington Heights; while those living now within boundaries of Arlington Heights feel more connected to their old home than they ever do to anything else outside their municipality Accordingly when news broke late last year that Arlington Heights would be moving away from its longtime location just south of Camp Bowie towards Post Oak we knew our time had come... The Coast Guard has been around since 1790. The first coast guard stations were built to help protect the coastline of Long Island and New York City. In 1925, the Coast Guard was created as a separate branch of the Department of Defense. The Coast Guard became an independent department in 1947 and began providing coastal security services through its Sector Offices located throughout the United States. The Coast Guard operates two helicopters, four boats, and fourteen jets for coastal security purposes. The Coastal Guard also provides education on maritime safety to children as well as juvenile offenders. One of the Coast Guards' primary responsibilities is Search and Rescue (SAR). In 1992, SAR was made available to all members of law enforcement agencies when it was agreed that SAR would become a common response in crimes against our coasts because incidents had been increasing exponentially over the years. Today, with the advent of new technology such as digital mapping tools and GPS tracking devices, we are able to better respond to emergencies at sea or on land much more quickly than ever before. thanks to technology advancements like these, we can keep our communities safe while ensuring that people have access to essential services like food and water availability

In 1941, the Coast Guards gave away two small airplanes for use by pilots in coastal defense activities. The next year, in 1942, the Coast Guards gave away an all-new warship called HMCS Ontario (CK-5). This ship was later converted into an escort carrier named USS Constitution (CV-23) and played a significant role in World War II against Japan.
