Twinsburg, Ohio is a town in the U.S. state of Ohio. The population was 5,049 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Dayton–Middletown, OH Metropolitan Statistical Area. The community formed in 1853 as a result of the merger of two small villages, Twinsburg and Hardingtown. In 1871, Twinsburg became an incorporated village and in 1907 it became a town. In 1961, twin towns form when Dayton-Middletown voted to annex Twinburg into their city limits. The annexation by Dayton was protested by some Twinburg citizens who felt they had been taken advantage of by their larger neighbor and saw it as another example of what they perceived as unfairness on the part of city officials. A referendum resulted in overwhelmingly voting "yes" on annexation; however, because no formal agreement existed between the two towns about how this change would be implemented (i.e., which services would be combined), most residents continued to use their separate names until January 1st, 2002 when all residents were required to switch to one common name under local government code §2701.(2) The first day that all residents were required to use one name was January 1st, 2002 and it has been used ever since.(3) A new school building called "Town Hall" was completed in 2007 with funding from both the County Governmental Entity (CGE) throughshared responsibility for several taxes ($8 million) and private contributions totaling $24 million giving Township residence tax breaks totalling $157 million over 10 years/ joint program with Warren County/BedfordCounty/Warren Municipal Authoritytotakeover costs($135 million). These programs will help insure that high quality public education opportunities are available for everyone living within Township boundaries regardless of race or economic status like now where there are few if any opportunities for access.(4)

Some servicemen may say that being deployed abroad gives them a true sense of adventure which allows them to learn new things about life and society; others may say that deployments take away from their civilian lives too much so they are less able to attend family functions or have normal social interactions outside of work or school. Twinsburg, Ohio is a small community located in the northwestern corner of Lucas County, Ohio. The population was 1,836 at the 2010 census. Twinsburg was founded by John and Laura Crouse in 1872 as a small farming community on the east side of the Scioto River. The name originated from two British settlers who named their farm "Twinbrook" after their home country. The first mention of Twinbrook appears in an official land grant issued to John Crouse in 1876. At that time, the town consisted of only five homes and a few pieces of land. However, by 1880, Twinbrook had become a thriving agricultural center with over seventy-five businesses and nine schools. By 1896, Twinsburg had reached its peak population with 2,500 residents and twelve churches. However, during World War I (1914-18), twin bombs destroyed most of Twinbrook's buildings including John Crouse's home which still stands today as a contributing factor to its decline following the war. After World War I ended, Twinsburg experienced some growth but also stagnation due to lack of available resources such as transportation or farmland for new development. In 1949, developers developed what would eventually be known as "the Jordan Township subdivision". This saw significant growth thanks to new technology such as television broadcasting which allowed for more efficient farming practices and larger families living close together on large tracts of land. This change not only increased housing prices but also created jobs within local industries that continue to benefit Twinsburg today. Despite these advances however, 2000s have seen an increase in crime rates and homelessness among young adults due to economic stressors such as joblessness or low wages earnership opportunities outside of Twinbergtownship itself
Twinsburg was founded in 1824 as a small settlement on the Scioto River. The first settler, Daniel Denton, platted the town and named it for his brother-in-law, John Twinsbury. In 1830, twin brothers Amos and Andy built a log cabin in what is now downtown Twinburg. They were the first to live in the town and continue to do so until they died in 1887. The original Post Office was established in 1833 and remained in operation until 1929. Twinburg was incorporated as a city in 1914.
