The Gladstone Rifle and Pistol Museum has a rich history of firearm gift giving. The museum was founded in 1924 by George Morrow, who donated his collection of firearms to the town. The museum has since grown to include over 50 pistols, rifles, shotguns, and ammunition from across Missouri. Today, the Gladstone Rifle and Pistol Museum is one of the largest pistol museums in the Midwest. It houses more than 2,000 guns from around Missouri and Illinois as well as an extensive collection of ammunition. The museum also offers educational programs on pistols and rifle culture. The Gladstone Rifle and Pistol Museum’s history began with a donation from George Morrow. Morrow had amassed a significant firearms collection in Gladstone, which he donated to the town for use as its own shooting gallery. At first, only handguns were available for purchase at the museum; however, over time, the museum has expanded its offerings to include rifles and shotguns from all across Missouri as well as ammo from international brands like Winchester and Colt. Gladstone is a small town in east-central Missouri, United States, located on the west bank of the James River. The population was 1,394 at the 2010 census. Gladstone is part of the Jackson County seat. Gladstone was platted in 1838 by Captain John Gladstone and his wife Martha Coolidge. The first post office in Gladstone was established in 1840. It was called "Inverness". The present name of Gladstone comes from General William H. Tecumseh Sherman's victory over Confederate forces at Missionary Ridge on November 8,1881. The community had its start as a cotton ginnery and mill operated by J.B. Goodrich and Brothers until 1883 when it became an agricultural settlement with a store and one school for students grades kindergarten through eighth grade; there were also two churches early on: First Baptist (1839) and Presbyterian (1860). An addition to the town center occurred in 1907 when an express train depot built by J.C.'s Express Company came downriver from St Louis and began serving as the town's central business district; this depot remains operational today as Gladstone Landing Park (the only remaining structure from that era). A new high school opened in 1978 which served studentsgrades 9th through 12th grade until 2002 when it closed due to financial difficulties; A new academy building has since been constructed adjacent to Main Street which serves students Grades K-12 along with some adult education courses There are also several restaurants served within walking distance of most residents including Harry's Pub & Grill, Golden Corral Buffet & Tavern, Carrabba's Italian Steak House, Joe's Pizza Place and Mills Café . Numerous businesses have closed or relocated over time such as Sears/Kmart/Jared Israel Jewelry which left for Kansas City after 30 years while Mid-America Diner moved into their current building in 2006; later that year P&L Coal Co., Inc., acquired the former Jared Israel Warehouse before moving into their current building next door which opened in 2009 after more than 40 years of operation at 321 E Main Street.; finally In 2013 Great American Tire announced they would be closing all but 2 locations across Missouri due to declining sales throughout much of 2014 due to alterations made to roadways caused by construction projects across I-55 between Springfield and Columbia etc.; however both stores reopened after receive permits from MO DOT allowing them back open

It's been a while since I've written something, so here it is: I received an airsoft gun as a gift. It was really cute and got me into the hobby.
Gladstone, Missouri is a small town located in northwest Kansas County, Missouri. The population was 597 at the 2010 census. Gladstone has been inhabited by Native Americans for over two thousand years. The first European to visit Gladstone was French trader and fur trapper Pierre Charles La Salle in 1764. In 1819, US General Winfield Scott founded the town on land sold to him by David Rice of Chickasaw Nation. In 1865, General John Custer's cavalry unit fought its way through the area during their ill-fated attempt to cross the American Great Plains from Nebraska into Kansas County. This event is generally considered to be the beginning of the end for the Plains Indian Wars. As a result of this battle and others like it, many soldiers and civilians lost their lives or were injured in what is now known as "Custer's Campaign." In 1896, Gladstone became one of thirty-six towns in Kansas County that were consolidated with Shawnee City under new legislations called "The Bland Act." Despite these challenges, Gladstone has steadily grown since becoming part of Shawnee City. Today, there are several businesses and restaurants located in town along with public schools (including a community school) that offer primary education for students grades K-12. Additionally, there are six churches serving local residents as well as three prisons within walking distance of Gladstone Village Shopping Center which offers grocery stores,restaurants and services such as hair salon/daycare center among other amenities. 1
