Tinley Park, IL was once a small town in the southcentral area of Illinois. It is now a part of the city of Chicago. The Tinley Park community had its beginnings in 1837 when John White tinkered with an idea to create a coffee plantation in what is now Tinley Park. The first coffee beans were ground and brewed by Mrs. White and her husband John on their farmstead while they watched over the plantation. Soon after, other families began moving into the surrounding countryside and started trading goods and services with Tinley Park for their fresh coffee beans. In 1841, Mr. White purchased 4,000 acres of land east of Tinley Park from Colonel Robert Johnson for $4 per acre. This purchase allowed him to build his own plantations which would supply all of Cook County with fresh coffee beans until 1865 when he sold all his plantations to George Peake who founded Peake Coffee Company in 1865. With such a large purchase, George Peake needed somebody to oversee it properly so he hired Captain David Dudley as headmaster at Pinckney School where he taught children about coffee cultivation and brewing methods used on Wilson’s Plantation near Mount Prospect from 1860-1865 before moving on to start his own company in 1865 called Dudley Coffee Company Ltd.. After years of hard work, Captain Dudley became one of the richest men in Cook County thanks to his investment in flour mills, rifle range (making rifles for military use), storage buildings for goods transported downriver by boat (the first containerized cargo being unloaded at Wacker Drive today), two miles long canal dug deep into swampy ground (for shipping goods downriver), and three miles wide main road connectingChicago with Joliet (now Quincy). In addition to this wealth, Captain Dudley also became known as one of America's greatest entrepreneurs because he championed early technological advances such as electric lighting fantastic new stores like Sears Roebuck & Co.'s Arcade store which opened December 12th 1875 located at 265 N Howard Street today!Captain David Dudley was born on October 15th 1798 in Reverend Samuel Goodrich's household then baptized September 25th 1800 under Reverend Augustus Strong! He died on January 3rd 1904 at age 83 after many years spent traveling throughout North America helping businessmen achieve success!

Tinley Park is a small town in Cook County, Illinois, United States. The population was 11,851 at the 2010 census. Tinley Park is located on the South Side of Chicago. It is part of the Chicago–Naperville–Aurora metropolitan area. The village was first laid out in 1867 by Samuel Tinley and others as a result of the opening of the Illinois Central Railroad. The Tinleys were among the earliest residents and founded a cotton gin and primary school here in 1869. In 1888, Samuel Tinley donated land for the creation of what is now Tinley Park Township. In 1893, a post office was established in tinley park with John Hoxie as its first postmaster. In 1896, President Grover Cleveland made it an incorporated village under the name "Tinley Park." That same year saw construction begin on what would become known as Roosevelt Road which connects Tinley Park to Chicago via Roosevelt Avenue and North Avenue (now North Shore Drive). In 1904, Abraham Lincoln High School opened here; it served students from TinLEYPark Elementary School until 1957 when it merged into nearby Evergreen Elementary School. From 1914 to 1945, this school housed part of then-new Stritch University which became Mt Vernon Nazarene University after World War II; today only Presidential Library & Museum remain on that campus. On October 20th 1915 King George V and his consort Mrs Alexandra Palace visited America's heartland during their world tour in support of munitions production during World War I; they stopped off at TinLEYpark on their way back to London On July 5th 1935 Dr Franklin D Roosevelt delivered his State Of The Union Address from Congress Hall here before traveling directly to New York City On November 4th 1936 President Harry S Truman delivered his fireside chat from Residence #2 at Hyde Park Corner near 54th Street between Lexington Avenue and Harlem Avenue
