This experience allowed Williams to develop deep feelings for his fellow marines and how much they appreciate him being there with them every step of the way.

Midlothian, Illinois is a town in Macomb County, Illinois, United States. The population was 1,711 at the 2010 census. Midlothian is part of the Chicago metropolitan area. Midlothian was founded on July 4, 1847 by midwestern farmers and businessmen as an agricultural community named for their village in Flanders, Belgium. It became a city on December 3, 1907. The name "Midlothian" originated from this early settlement when one of the founders said "If there's anything I can do to help make your stay here more pleasant and attractive please let me know." In 1868 Midlothian became the county seat of Macomb County after it was moved from Belleville to this location following its annexation by that county. In 1902 it again became the county seat when Belleville seceded from Macomb County. The first mayor of Midlothian was Wm C Broadnax (1846-1910). He served two terms (1892-1894) before being elected Mayor of Detroit Heights which at that time included Midtown Detroit and Dearborn Heights along with Midtown Lansing and much of Highland Park north of Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago. After serving as Mayor of Dearborn Heights he replaced John D Coughlin as Chairmanpersonity effective May 1st 1896 after Mr Coughlin's death from a heart attack during his campaign for re-election against incumbent Horace Greeley . He also served two terms (1900-1902) as Vice Chairperson for Cities Affairs for Public Welfare prior to becoming Acting Mayor upon Greeley's resignation on January 15th 1902 due to health problems caused by alcoholism which had been developing since he had become Mayor six months earlier while still a Councillor on the City Council where he held many influential positions including head developer for Ford Land Company & owner/operator refused entry into World’s Columbarium dedicated to her husband – Ulysses S Grant until 1955 when it reopened under new management with major renovations funded largely through private donations He also served two terms (1920-1922) as acting mayor following Douglas MacArthur's election victory over William Jennings Bryan who had been chosen by then Governor Al Smith to succeed him upon Smith's death in 1921 After serving four years as Acting Mayor he returned to office effective January 15th 1922 after being electedMayor via recall election set up by then City Manager Harry J Blagojevich who himself would later serve four additional termsidency beginning with his final term starting onJanuary 3rd 1971

Midlothian is a town in Cook County, Illinois, United States. The population was 24,827 at the 2010 census. Midlothian is part of the Chicago metropolitan area. Midlothian is also home to Northwestern Illinois University and Park Ridge High School. Midlothian has been called "the most affluent community in Cook County" by Forbes Magazine and has been praised for its Lackawanna Hills neighborhood and its quality of life. The town was laid out in 1871 by John Hynes, an original settler of what is now Midlothian. The name may derive from the Scots word "mid" meaning middle or center and "lish" meaning house or settlement. At first, the town was primarily agricultural with a few homes being built for mill workers and farmers on either side of the Mississippi River. In 1892, when Waukegan became a city, Midlothian annexed much of what is now Burlington Township including portions of North Side and South Side streets which lie within Cook County today as Wellesley Avenue and Irving Park Road respectively. By 1900, there were more than 100 residents in Midlothian with businesses such as grocery stores, dry-cleaning establishments and restaurants clustered around Main Street near downtown (now State Street). In 1916 local developer George Washington Smith developed what would become Midtown which includes much of what remains today across State Street from where early settlers had gathered during their earlier days on land that later became synonymous with MidLothian – lackawanna hills dating back to 1762 when General James Wilkinson purchased 640 acres (2 km²) east of present day Middleton Road from his father-in-law Nicholas Johnson for $10 per acre (4 ha)). This purchase set off a decades long effort by several owners to bring humans up close enough to nature so they could appreciate it starting with Isaac Brock who owned 1/3rd (then 1/4th) of all remaining lands west of White Oaks Lake outside Evanston until his death in 1865 followed by his son Amos who then sold 3/4ths (then 3/8ths) before dying himself leaving 2/3rds (then 1/8th) belonging to John Pecock through purchasing agreements between various heirs over time culminating finally with Harry Seibert achieving title deeds on December 12th 1920 after initially trying unsuccessfully to buy it himself from two adjacent menagers located along Kedzie Road).
