Chicago Ridge is a ridge in central Illinois that forms the border between Cook County and Kane County. The ridge rises to a elevation of 1,815 feet (553 meters) above sea level and trends northwest. At one point portions of what are today Midway Park east of Wacker Drive were also part of this tract – again within present-day Kane County boundaries at various points during their history.
