They started out as a small business selling Turkish coffee beans from their home on Northwest 71st Street in Miami Gardens. They quickly became known for their high quality and delicious coffee. In 1995, they opened up a second location in Overtown, FL which soon became one of the most popular tourist destinations in Miami Gardens. In 2000, Tactical Coffee acquired its own roast house which allowed them to improve their flavor profile and bring you the best possible cup of coffee every time. They continue to grow and develop new technologies to keep up with the ever changing needs of their customer base. Today, Tactical Coffee is one of the leading companies when it comes to providing innovative espresso drinks that are perfect for any occasion!

In the early 1900s, coffee beans were brought overland from Colombia in wagons. Coffee was traded for goods such as maize and cattle. In 1922, Miami Gardens became a municipio within the City of Miami. In 1959, it annexed more territory to form the new city of Miami Beach. The annexation created an additional population growth potential that led to increased demand for coffee beans. Coffee began becoming popularized in Miami Gardens in the early 1960s when several grocery stores started selling roasted coffeebeans direct to consumers. At this time, most people who bought coffee drank it black or with sugar and cream added. It wasn't until 1975 that a cafe called Cafe Don Julio opened up in North Miami which quickly became known as "The birthplace of espresso" due to its high quality espresso drinks and unique atmosphere.
Miami Gardens, Florida is a city in Miami-Dade County, Florida. The population was 2,813 as of the 2010 census. The official name of the city was "Miami Gardens," and it had that name until May 1, 1959 when it changed to "Miami Beach." Miami Beach became a separate city on July 1, 1959. The history of Miami Gardens goes back to 1892 when the Key Biscayne estate (now known as Overtown) was purchased by James M. Fenton for $10,000 from Dr. John Schieffer and his wife Anna Maria Shriver Fenton. At first it was just called Key Biscayne and consisted only of 5 homes including one owned by Palm Beach socialite Connie Mack Bouvier. In 1903 they developed what would become known as Overtown into a town with 9 blocks bounded by Metairie Boulevard on the south side; Adams Boulevard on the west side; Flagler Road on the north side; Nautilus Avenue on its east side; and Cutler Bayou on its southeast edge. By 1905 there were over 100 people living in Overtown and business continued to grow with fishing, racing, swimming & boating being some of the activities enjoyed at this time especially along Cutler Bayou which served as a source of fresh water for many residents

Miami Gardens is a city located in Miami-Dade County, Florida. The population of Miami Gardens was 704,083 as of the 2010 census. It is part of the Miami–Ft. Lauderdale–Hollywood Metropolitan Statistical Area. The area that would become Miami Gardens was first settled by Spanish colonists in the early 1800s. In 1823, King Carlos IV of Spain granted land to José María Morelos and his family in what would later become Miami Gardens. The Morelos name came from their home country, Mexico City. When it became an American territory in 1898, the U.S. gave its new residents only one week to leave for fear they would be annexation into Cuba if they didn’t leave quickly. Despite this scarecrow warning, most Americans who arrived during the 1898 revolution decided to stay and fight for their country against Spanish rule instead of streaming off to Cuba like many other Cuban immigrants had done before them. In 1902, a group of men from New York City named Jules Ferry bought 320 acres (12 km2) east of present-day downtown Miami and began development on what would become known as “The Landing Strip” or simply “The Landing” because it was designated specifically for American commercial fishing vessels coming into Dadeland Lake for landing at then-new PortMiami Beach on Biscayne Bay. Ferry wanted a seaport so he could export seafood products directly to Europe instead of having to go through Havana or other ports on the Caribbean Sea carrying foodstuffs and cargo upriver before being unloaded at Point Vedra on Biscayne Bay where it took weeks or even months for ships to reach their destination due to tides and currents making getting ashore difficult even with modern ferries). By 1926, Ferry had opened up The Landing Strip into an industrial park totaling 1,500 acres (500 m²), including 4000 housing units and 400 businesses providing jobs for local workers while also allowing him access to ample acreage beyond The Landing Strip which he used as his private farmstead until his death in 1951.—Today much remains from Ferry's original heyday including remnants of his once impressive hotel complex - now called Trump International Hotel & Tower - which still stands today across from I-95 exits 335/336A exit near NW 57th Street—as well as Ferry's golf course adjacent unto I-95 exit 359A offer stunning views over Downtown Miami.—One can only imagine how lushly landscaped today's much smaller but no less imposing "Lauderdale" area might have looked when first developed back then just off US 95W between NW First Avenue NW and NE 68th Street.—What a contrast from today’s run down strip mall areas such as Northwest 67th Street corridor adjacent Lighthouse Point Boulevard SW corner NE 80th Avenue!

It was chartered on October 15, 1887 as a charter city of Dade County. The first mayor of Miami Gardens was James Sennett, who served from 1889 to 1892.
