Jupiter, Florida is a small town in Monroe County, Florida. It lies on the eastern coast of Jacksonville Beach, between the 30th and 41st parallels latitude. The population was 2,399 at the 2010 census. The post office was established at Jupiter in 1907 and served until 1957. Jupiter had three schools during the 1920s: Drake High School (now part of USF), Episcopal Academy and Stonington School. There were no hospitals or medical facilities in Jupiter during its early years as a village; residents came to local doctors for treatment. In 1951, Dr. Wm Henson opened Jacksonville's first plastic surgery center which became one of the most popular providers of medical care in Jacksonville beach area. In 1987, Henson left his business to become president and CEO of Atlantic Health Systems Inc., an ambulatory surgical center chain with locations throughout Florida including Jupiter and Monrovia . Jupiter has seen many changes over time - from a predominately agricultural community to one with significant concentrations of high-end retail stores, restaurants and hotel developments over recent decades. The architecture styles that prevailed during this period include Bungalow/Acreage Style houses (1927-1948), Greek Revival style homes (1898-1920), Spanish Colonial Revival homes (1910-1920) and Modernist architecture (1945-) Some notable landmarks in Jupiter include: Presbyterian Church located on Windermere Boulevard; First Baptist Church built in 1927 on University Avenue; Stonington Custom House built on York Street; JAX AIRPORT located on Northwest Third Street near Airport Boulevard; Sunrise Inn & Conference Center built in 1985 across from Sunrise United Methodist Church

Additionally, marines have donated money into charities throughout the years in order commemorate wounded warriors or disaster victims. This generosity is nothing short of amazing considering that many troops spend years away from loved ones while serving on active duty.

Jupiter, Florida is a small town located in Manatee County, Florida, United States. The population was 1,527 at the 2010 census. It was founded on November 12, 1892 by John Tabor and his wife Elizabeth (née Haggerty). It is named after Jupiter in Rome. The town began as a farming community and later developed into an agricultural center with citrus production accounting for most of the town's revenue. The post office served the community until it closed in 1907. In 1916, the first local high school opened doors to students from surrounding communities including Jupiter Valley and Pinellas Park. In 1954, construction began on the present day courthouse which was completed in 1957. Today, Juno Beach tourism is one of Jupperson’s most important industries while providing many jobs to locals and visitors alike. The town has long been known for its annual Strawberry Festival which attracts over 100,000 people each year; both during summertime and fall time. Additionally, there are several sports teams that operate within Juno Beach including the local fire department who compete in various events throughout the year as well as multiple high school teams that participate in state tournaments throughout the year as well as other club sports such as Ultimate Frisbee and inline skating
The history of Jupiter, Florida can be traced back to the 1800s when settlers first arrived in the area. The area was originally called Jacksonville, but became known as Jupiter after a local Native American tribe named Juppiter. In 1824, Jacksonville was renamed Jacksonville Ridge after General Andrew Jackson and the Battle of Jonesville took place near that location. The name stuck and by 1865, Jupiter had become an incorporated city. In 1901, Jupiter formed its own school district which would eventually grow into the current system of government for the city. In 1925, the city purchased land adjacent to Pensacola Bay which would become their new downtown core. The City Council then decided to rename the old downtown core as "Jupiter Park" in honor of their fallen namesake. The population of Jupiter increased rapidly during World War II due to increasing demand for military housing in the region. By 1945, there were over 20,000 people living in Jupiter and it had reached its peak development period. However, growth slowly slowed during the postwar years as war-time production shifted towards civilian uses such as cars and factories instead of defense work. By 1978, however, Jupiter's population had stabilized at around 10,000 residents and it began a slow decline that continued until 2000 when it peaked at 17,500 residents before gradually declining again over ensuing years. As of 2006 there are only 6 remaining permanent residents in Jupitertown despite claims from some officials that there may still be up to 25 thousand people living within 250 miles radius who identify themselves as "Jupiterites."
