Coffee was also used by the Inca people, who drank it to keep them healthy during long marches across the Andes. The first Starbucks opened its doors in Seattle, Washington in 1969. The company quickly became successful and soon began opening other stores around the world. Starbucks continues to be one of the most popular coffee companies on Earth today with over sixty-five stores worldwide. In 2018, Forbes estimated that Starbucks had an annual revenue of $38 billion dollars. The coffee industry has had a long and varied history, with different origins and methods of production. Some of the earliest coffee trees were in Africa, where coffee was grown for use in drinks such as wine and beer. The first espresso machines were built in 1874 by Luigi Beccaria, who discovered that adding hot water to beans after they had been roasted made a better cup of coffee than using cold water alone. By 1900, most Italians were using espresso machines to make their morning coffee. Brazil's first commercial Coffee roaster was founded in 1917 by Antonio Carlos Jobim, who named his company "José Antônio Carneiro e Silva" (JCES). José Carneiro started working at JCES while still a student at the University of Sao Paulo (USP). In 1922 he moved to Brazil's capital city, Brasília, and started buying land for a new coffee roasting plant. In 1928 he opened up Brazilian Coffee House (Boulevard do Carmo), which became one of the largest java bars in the world. In 1935 Colombian Coffee Corporation began producing its own beans under license from José Martí International Trading Company Ltd., an Englishman who developed methods for grinding beans that yielded finer ground coffees than those available from other processors. Colombian Coffee Corporation continued to produce fine-ground coffees until 1982 when it merged with United Breweries Limited to form Peet's Coffee Incorporated. African slavery ended with emancipation in 1865; however, some small areas of Africa continued to be used as slave-based plantations until 1945. The French Huguenots who fled France during the revocation of the Edict of Nantes (1685) settled along the Guinea Coast beginning around 1690; these European refugees also began cultivating cocoa plants and brewed their own indigenous brew called café de Bouillon or bouillon du hoteleur (coffee bar). Hollywood, Florida is located in the Pensacola-Ft. Walton County area of Florida. The city was founded by Hollywood, California film star and producer Harry Laughlin in 1926 on the site of a former citrus plantation. In 1939, it became a Spanish-speaking town with the addition of Mexico City's Aztlán district. It became an Americanized city after World War II when its residents were drawn to work in newly developed suburban areas of Los Angeles and New York City. However, Hollywood's reputation for being a "haunted" locale has persisted through the years and it remains one of the most popular tourist destinations in Florida. The history of Hollywood begins with Harry Laughlin who settled here in 1926 after leaving California for good. He started production on films such as The Jazz Singer (1927), King Kong (1933), and Gone With the Wind (1939). The area now known as Hollywood was first inhabited by Native Americans, who called it Punta Cana because it resembled a canary island found near that location. A plant nursery owner named Harry Winkleman bought land next to where Laughlin had built his studio in 1928 and began growing oranges thereabouts. By 1930, Winkleman had constructed a two-story building which he named studios 1A & 2B; this facility would later become Paramount Pictures Corporation headquarters. When sound technology was invented, Vitaphone shorts were made at studios 1A & 2B usingorthophone equipment which required players to wear headsets while watching films; these shorts are sometimes referred to as "Hollywood Hisses". Studio 3C also functioned as a vaudeville theater during this time period. In 1939, when Hollywood became an Americanized city due to war effort requirements following Pearl Harbor attack, many people left for established areas such as Los Angeles or New York City; however, some chose to stay behind because they saw potential opportunities here due to new technologies like sound technology which had just been invented at that time. This led to what is commonly referred to as "the golden age" of Hollywood – until then Hisses were still common occurrences thanks largely to physical limitations associated with early Sound equipment like Orthophones which could only be worn within close quarters like onstage at live performances or while seated listening through headphones backstage! After World War II ended withies many returning home from overseas service returned home including some key figures from movie industry including William Beaumont who produced King Kong and born Jack Warner who would go on develop successful short subjects such as US Army Stories (1945) for United States Department of Defense before becoming head writer/director on screenwriting giant MGM’s risque productions like To All Women Who Love Me (1946) followed by One Hundred Years Of Solitude (1955). The Golden Age came crashing down around 1957 when era veteran Sunset Boulevard director Roman Polanski took over directing duties from Beaumont at MGM’s Burbank studio following Beaumont’s firing over creative differences unrelated tc any artistic problems particularly surrounding polanski’s highly critical look back at extant MGM movies Best Boyfriend (1948) featuring Lana Turner and others starringStudio Ghibli animator Hayao Miyazaki wrote et al., A Tale Of Two Cities (2006) based upon Dickens novel 1812 Overture: From London To Moscow And Back Again

The drive-in theaters were eventually replaced by modern cinemas in the early 1960s. In 1978, Hollywood, Florida was renamed after Cecil B.
