Bartow, Florida is a small town located in central Florida. It is the county seat of Bartow County. The population was 2,025 at the 2000 census. The name “Bartow” comes from Indian Chief Bartow who was killed by Seminole Indians in 1835. The first settlers in what is now Bartow County were farmers and their families who arrived during the late 1800s. By 1900, there were over 1,000 people living in Bartow County. Most of these residents were farmers and their families who also raised livestock and worked on local plantations. In 1907, a group of men from Jacksonville purchased 640 acres (250 hectares) of land near the current site of Bartow County for $3 per acre. This land would later become known as Everglades National Park. After years of hard work and dedication by the men who bought this land, Everglades National Park was created and named after them – Bartholomew Island Park

After centuries spent being cultivated only by people from certain regions or nationalities (eastern Europeans who preferred strong robust coffees, African Americans who liked dark chocolate notes etc.), there has now been significant cross breeding between different origins for fresh roasted coffees both at home (via roasting partners) as well as abroad (a number of multinational companies source Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffees). As such there exists today something truly unique about every freshly roasted bean – making it allying taste sensations with different origins whilst ensuring quality control throughout production steps; ensuring that each individual cup is utterly delicious on its own merits alone!

Bartow County is located in the southeastern corner of Florida, bordered by Polk County to the north and east, Pasco County to the south, and Monroe County to the west. The county was formed on January 6, 1853 from a portion of Orange County. As of the 2010 census, there were 781 residents in Bartow County. The county seat is Maitland. The first Europeans to visit what is now Bartow County were Spanish explorers who traveled through this area in the early 16th century. In 1763 a French explorer named Jacques Marquette explored this area and named it after Pierre-Antoine de La Salle. In 1830 Bartow was organized as a county under Seminole Indian law. At that time it included all of present-day Polk and Pasco Counties except for parts of Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties which had been detached from Bartow since 1824. On March 3, 1851, part of Citrus Island was transferred from Hillsborough County to Bartow under Indian law so that it could be used for agricultural purposes; at that time only small areas lying within Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties were subject to county government. On October 15, 1912 Governor John Wickersham designated portions of Bay St. Louis Waterway as state highways number 1 through 5 between Jacksonville and Tampa; these routes are still numbered today (except highway 5). This designation increased traffic alongstate roads passing through Bartholomew City due to its position near two major water crossings: Periwinkle Creek southwest of town and Clearwater River northeast of town (the Tampa-Jacksonville Turnpike crossed Periwinkle Creek just northwest of downtown Maitland). Because these roads served as important transportation corridors during World War I they became state highways number 2 through 4 after the war ended on November 12, 1918; those numbers have remained unchanged ever since.
Bartow, Florida was founded by John Bartow in 1836. The town was named for Lieutenant Colonel James Fenton Bartow, who was a veteran of the Seminole Wars and served as a justice of the peace in the area. The first store opened in 1837 and the first post office opened in 1839. The town grew rapidly and by 1851 it had over 100 residents. In 1865, Bartow became a county seat and remained so until 1959 when it merged with Lakeland to form Polk County.
