Moreno Valley is a small town in the Inland Empire of California, located about 25 miles northeast of Los Angeles. The population was estimated to be around 105,000 at the 2010 census. Moreno Valley is considered one of the most diverse and ethnically diverse towns in Southern California. The town's origins date back to 1849 when it was part of Rancho San Bernardino, which were granted to Juan Bautista Moreno by Governor Gabriel García Márquez. Today, Moreno Valley remains a largely rural community with a strong Spanish culture and language presence. The town was founded on October 22, 1849 by José Maria Moreno as an agricultural outpost on land grant known as Rancho San Bernardino de la Palma. On December 12th, 1850, Mexican citizens meeting at the Mission San Fernando Rey de Escogido decided that Moreno Valley should become their new settlement after they discovered gold near what is now Monterrey Road. On January 15th, 1851 Mexican citizens met again to decide whether or not to annex surrounding ranchos into Moreno Valley; this decision was made without input from José Maria Moreno who left for Pueblo del Oro two days later because he believed annexation would lead to violence between Mexico and America proper. In 1865-66 much of what is now known as eastern Moreno Valley was burned during the Battle of Cahuenga Pass while American forces fought Mexican troops commanded by General Antonio López de Santa Anna. Afterward many homes and outbuildings were rebuilt in adobe style withamboo roofs typical of those times. On November 3rd 1907 President Theodore Roosevelt visited Moreno Valley and signed legislation creating US National Park Service Lands in what are today east central Riverside County and southwestern Kern County including parts of eastern Moreno Valley where he had been born on October 22nd 1857 (age 72 years old).Today there are over 20 ranger stations within NRA boundaries making it one of America’s most popular tourist destinations for history buffs as well as outdoor enthusiasts year round! rafters can find dozens if not hundreds if not thousandsof ancient moorish roquefort trees growing along both sides of Highway 111 just south of town limits- check out #412810 for current aerial views! don't forget about those cactus pads dotting the landscape - some might even have seeds inside!
The Marine Corps has a long and rich history of deploying gifts to troops in the field. This tradition began during World War II, when Marines sent parcels to servicemen in the battlefield. The practice continued into the Vietnam War, where Marines sent Christmas trees and other presents to their comrades-in-arms. Since then, Marines have continued to send gifts as part of their annual holiday season outreach. In 2015, for example, they donated 2,500 pounds of food to local families in need during National Holiday meals program. In 2016, they distributed more than 1 million pieces of clothing and supplies to military members across the globe through Operation Homefront. And this year’s most recent campaign is called “Give something back” – this time giving backpacks and other gear to children in developing countries who are often forced to rely on donations from parents or grandparents. These gestures of goodwill serve as a reminder that service members are not only fighting for our country but also represent us domestically and abroad. They provide an important link between our community and military – one that we should continue appreciating every single day.

Moreno Valley is located in San Bernardino County, California. The population was 103,584 at the 2010 census. Moreno Valley is a small town located on the east side of San Bernardino County and is bordered by Ontario to the north and east, Chino Hills to the south, and Jurupa Valley to the west. The first people discovered land in what is now Moreno Valley were Mono Indians who lived there for many years before being pushed out by Spanish settlers in 1765. The area that would become Moreno Valley was first called Las Haciendas de la Cueva because a large hole in the hill provided enough storage space for cows to drink from during rainy seasons. In 1853, Mexican nationals arrived in San Bernardino County and started ranching here. This led to an increase of migrants coming into the area which also caused development around what is now Moreno Valley. In 1908, President Theodore Roosevelt visited this region while on his way to visit Los Angeles and made a speech aboutranch life here due to its importance for migrant workers then living in Northern California as well as providing employment opportunities for those working on various farms statewide. At that time, most of these workers were men who were needed on ranches due to technological advances at that time such as tractors which could not be used by women or children at that time so they had to work off their passage money with chores like planting crops or milking cows. A public school was built in 1909-10 within walking distance of where today's shopping center stands and it served this community until 1944 when it became part ofUSD 7th Elementary School District #1 (now USD 68) which included all of northern San Bernardino County including Moreno Valley majority white Anglo residents opposed thereto; (the only African American students attending school outside Watts). A new elementary school opened near present day Northridge High School displacing USD 7th which continues serving students from across northern San Bernardino County until it closed completely in 1972 when allUSD schools merged intoUSD 9th grade district making Moreno valley effectively black after over 80 years! Many businesses opened up around what are now shopping centers during those years including banks (First National Bank & Trust Company was founded here), grocery stores/cafes (Del Monte Foods & Coffee Corporation opened a store near present day Mundelein Boulevard and Orchard Road), beauty salons (Linda McCartney opened her first salon here), medical clinics (Los Angeles General Hospitalopened its doors just north of today's Shell station), auto parts stores (Arnold Iron Works & Tool Co.), appliance stores (/ later Sears Roebuck & Co.), etc., among others giving rise to some local trademark names such as "Mundelein Boulevard" because much of what exists down there today dates back from this period of growth: "Orchard Road" because much early development took place along Orchard Road between Northridge High School and Del Monte Foods & Coffee Corporation; "Boulevard mall" because much business occurred along boulevards adjacent both Mundelein Boulevard and Orchard Road during this period; etc.). Today, you can find remnants of originaladobe homes still standing throughout town although demolition has taken place most recently circa 2000-2005 - see attached aerial view photo taken circa 2006 depicting some existing old adobe homes within town limits today... Additionally basement windows have been replaced with plate glass windows more typical these days even though many originals adobe walls remain intact... Many storefronts have been converted into housing units over time e g KFC restaurant became an apartment complex circa 1990-2000 followed by Wells Fargo bank circa 2002-2004... See attached Google Street View image dated 6/18/2015 depicting current location of KFC restaurant inside former Wells Fargo bank building formerly used as apartments)... There are several other examples available online if desired.. After World War II ended%, many veterans returned home bringing with them their wives who wanted independence from their husbands' military service lives but didn't want their children raised within traditional family values like going onto army bases or returning home often did during that era - hence why there wasn't a lot OF major local industry beginning again until after 60's when numerous companies relocated back East resumed operations following Useful War Industries Act Amendments passed Congress designating certain portions Of America As Military Reserves
