When the Spanish first arrived in California, they were not satisfied with their new land. They wanted to explore it and find new ways to make money. So they built Mission San Francisco and Mission Santa Ana. The Spaniards also built a road from central Mexico to California. This road was called the Carretera Real, or Royal Road. In 1825, Don Juan Bautista Coronado set out on this carretera real for exploration. He thought he could find a better way to make money than selling goods he had found in Mexico. He also believed that he could find a route to Asia by traveling through California. Coronado's journey led him all the way to the Mexican state of Baja California. There he discovered some great gold mines and decided that this was where he should go next. However, his companions did not agree with his plans and left him behind in Baja California without any supplies or reinforcements! Coronado continued on his journey until finally reaching what is now Arizona in 1829! At this point, he realized that there was no way back home again and decided instead to explore what was waiting for him north of Arizona!

When it comes to coffee lover gifts, there is no one definitive answer. However, here are a few tips on how to choose the perfect gift for someone who loves their morning caffeine fix: First and foremost, consider what the person enjoys most about coffee. This could be anything from enjoying a delicious cup of joe with friends to using their coffee as an occasional therapy break. Additionally, think about what type of coffee the receiver would be interested in. If they like big prostate-friendly cups of java or prefer delicate espresso drinks, then something specific like that may be a better fit. Finally, consider what type of gift recipient you can work with. Some people enjoy receiving unique gifts and others just want something easy and straightforward such as an executive mug or travel mug with printable notes or recipes inside. Ultimately, whatever the giftee’s interests are, picking out the perfect gift is sure to make them happy!

With a population of over 20,000 people, Coronado is the largest city in San Diego County. The city was founded by Spanish settlers in 1821 as part of the Mission San Diego de California. The name “Coronado” comes from the town of Carbón (now part of Otay Mesa) inentertainment industry and transportation enthusiast Lt. John A. Coronado led an expedition in Search for the Pacific Ocean’s treasures in 1828-29 after hearing about them from American traders on his return journey across North America that year. He first named what he found west of the mountains San Diego but later changed it to simply “San Diego” because there were no other towns nearby with that name. The mission was destroyed by an earthquake on September 15,1857 and then burned down less than two years later by Mexican revolutionaries opposed to Anglo rule who also destroyed many native villages within sight of Los Angeles Harbor. In 1850, a group of Englishmen settled at what is now downtown Coronado and began trading goods with Mexicans and Native Americans along what is now State Route 163 which became known as Padres Street after one such trader, Isidro Padilla). After Mexican independence was recognized in 1848, General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna ordered all Catholic missions throughout Mexico to be secularized including San Diego; this order resulted in most missions being abandoned except for San Francisco where some friars kept up a small mission until 1776 when they were expelled by British forces under Admiral Sir Francis Drake during their siege of Mexico City. In 1851-52 Captain Manuel Nieto built a adobe hotel near what is now First Street and Padre Drive while Captain José Francisco Urquiza developed land northward along Third Avenue from Mission Bay through present day Kearny Mesa towards Downtown Los Angeles. About this time another group prospecting for gold near Mount Carmel arrived at Whatcom Point across Frome River where they named their new settlement Monterey so as not to offend local Indians who still used that name for their ancestral homeland east of Lake Alamo (now Austin). This period saw rapid growth due largely to military presence accompanying Commodore David Dixon's exploration Expedition organized by Governor Fernando Wood during Polk's term followingitzer California Gold Rush era Manifesto which called for single large area devoted to agriculture production leading eventually toCalifornias becoming one country rather than multiple states resultant from rush towards incorporation into United States! By 1860 only 2%ofthe city's population remained while more than 60% had migrated or been born within the county since its creation less than 10 years earlier! With these changes came mass migration outlying rural areas adjacent to newly developing neighborhoods such as East Village/International District (or El Centro), Boyle Heights/HBGary Center etc., resulting today in more inhabitants living outside commuting zones like LAX airport or downtown than inside those same boundaries! index

In 1769, the Spanish Presidio of San Diego was established on Rancho Santa Fe de Californias (now part of San Francisco). The mission became a dry goods store and warehouse for the presidial forces and later served as a barracks. In 1792, Mexico ceded California to Spain with the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo. The Mexican government continued to survey and claim land in California for New Spain, including parts now in Arizona, Nevada, and Oregon. In 1821, after Mexican independence was proclaimed, Baja California -- which included present-day California -- was claimed by both Mexico and United States under the terms of the Compromise of 1825. The first permanent European resident in what is today Baja California occurred when Juan Rodríguez Cabrillo discovered gold in 1542 near modern-day Point Conception. A year later he founded La Jolla on Isla de la Juventud about 35 miles east of modern-day San Diego. From this point forward until 1846 there were sporadic visits from seekers of gold but no major settlements or businesses developed because it was difficult to get food and water supplies overland from points farther inland than El Centro City. On July 14, 1846 Yerba Buena Cove opened up within sight of Los Angeles Harbor as an important harbor on what would soon become known asCoronado Strait between San Diego Bay and Coronado Island
