The city is home to two of the biggest artisan coffee businesses in Arizona, as well as a wide variety of cafes that specialize in different types of coffee. The history of artisan coffee in Sierra Vista began with two small shops, Coffee House and Cafe de la Colombe. Coffee House was started by a couple of friends who were passionate about providing high-quality cup of joe to their customers. The café quickly became known for its excellent quality, innovative programming, and friendliness. Cafe de la Colombe followed a similar path but took on a more professional approach. Owner Manuel Gomez hired employees who would design and build each individual cafe'sECD (envelope) roast machine. This gave patrons the ability to choose their own beans and roasts, giving them complete control over their experience while at work. It also allowed Coffee de la Colombe to grow into one of the largest artisan coffee businesses in Tucson. Today, both Coffee House and Cafe de la Colombe are long gone but their legacy lives on in the memories of those who frequented them during those early days when Sierra Vista was still just an agricultural town full of farmers and ranchers looking for ways to improve their lives through food production.

Rockefeller founded his Western Coffee Company in Sierra Vista and started purchasing coffee from local farmers. In 1912, Rockefeller opened a larger processing plant in nearby Phoenix and also began selling coffee through mail order. By 1920, Western Coffee was one of the largest grocery store chains in the United States with stores throughout North America.
Sierra Vista is a city in Pinal County, Arizona, United States. The population was 9,872 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Pinal County. The first white people to come to Sierra Vista were Mexican settlers who arrived in 1842. A longer period of time elapsed before anyone from Sierra Vista founded a town or village there. In 1912 an oil well was drilled near present-day Sierra Vista and began production that allowed for growth in the area around it. The city was founded on November 15, 1915 by Harry Hays with support from Guthrie Oil Company executives and other private individuals as an opportunity for retired soldiers and their families to find new homes after the end of World War I. At first only male citizens were allowed to live in towns established within Pinal County; however, over time women have also been admitted into cities throughout Arizona due to their economic power and political clout. Town meetings were originally held at the old army barracks which later became the courthouse; however, this building no longer stands today but visitors can explore several structures located nearby including a post office (1922) and bank (1929). In 1951 work started on creating what would become downtown Sierra Vista as part of a larger development known as Mesa Verde Rancho Village which aimed to provide affordable housing for low-income residents and promote community involvement by young people through its amphitheater/pool complex/library/gallery etc.. Today Downtown MesaVerde remains one of downtown's most popular tourist destinations with its many restaurants, bars & shops along one main street while another Parallel Street runs perpendicular across from it forming what used to be called 'the canyon'. There are also two parks located within Downtown: One named Highland Park adjacent to US 90A south of Market Street while another much smaller park named Tempe Landing sits just east of US 90A north of Seventh Street between Springdale Road & Shea Boulevard just off Interstate 10W . Both parks offer play areas for children as well as picnic areas overlooking both local creek' s that run through them - making these places perfect daytrips or weekend getaways!

Sierra Vista was founded in 1867 by Tom Green and his wife, Sarah. The town was named for the Sierra Madre Mountains, which are located in central Arizona. The townsite is located on a ranch that belonged to John Sutter, who developed the Rancho San Carlos grant in 1844. In 1902, the Green family sold their share of the ranch to Harry Hays and his son-in-law Waddell C. Smith. Smith renamed the property Sierra Vista Park, after his home state of New Mexico. In 1916, President Woodrow Wilson proclaimed it an international community center due to its location on US 95 between Tucson and Phoenix. In 1938, during World War II, Sierra Vista was used as a concentration camp for Japanese Americans living in southern Arizona. During the war, local residents helped provide food and water to those incarcerated at Camp Carson near Flagstaff. Camp Carson closed in 1945 after serving its purpose of housing Japanese American inmates. Since then, Sierra Vista has become a diverse community with many cultural attractions including art galleries and museums; a golf course;and two shopping malls
On November 15, 1912, the town of Sierra Vista was established by a group of settlers who had traveled from the east side of Tucson. The town was named for the Sierra Nevada Mountains in California. The first post office opened in 1913. In 1916, the US government leased land to build a military airfield in Sierra Vista. On July 8, 1917, the first airplane flew over Sierra Vista and it was used for training by American pilots. By 1922, there were over 20 businesses in Sierra Vista and it became a popular tourist destination.
