Today, there are several prominent coffee companies in Prescott Valley, including Blue Bottle Coffee, Peet's Coffee & Tea, Two Cows Coffee and The Farm Stand.

Prescott Valley is an agricultural and ranching town in eastern Arizona, about 25 miles (40 km) east of the city of Phoenix. It was founded by Mormons in 1867 as a working farmstead on the Verde River. Prescott Valley became a small village in 1900, when it joined the larger community of Phoenix. The population of Prescott Valley increased rapidly during World War II, as many people left to join the military or serve in other national service efforts. The post-war growth slowed, but has resumed since the early 2000s as housing prices have increased and businesses have opened up. Today, Prescott Valley is a vibrant community with strong ties to its rural surroundings and its LDS Church members who continue to produce crops and cattle.

Originally championed by modern-day roasters like Second Wave Coffee and Roastery Balthazar, artisan coffee quickly became an important part of many people’s daily lives. Today, there are many different types of artisan coffee available on store shelves around the United States. And while this variety can be confusing for some newbies (or even experienced enthusiasts), it’s definitely worth checking out all of the different options out there!

There is a long and varied coffee history. Coffee beans were first roasted and ground in the Middle East over 3,000 years ago. The Italians began roasting their own coffee in the 1800s, and Brazilian coffee was first grown in the area now known as Brazil. In 1876, Gregor Mendel discovered the genetic basis for Genetics; this led to major changes in coffee production.

Prescott Valley was a mining and ranching town in southeastern Arizona in the early 20th century. It became a popular tourist destination for people who wanted to explore the Wasatch Front, which is a region of high mountains in Utah and Colorado. Prescott Valley's economy was based on silver mining, cattle grazing, and other farming activities. The population of Prescott Valley peaked at around 6,000 people in the 1920s, but it declined after World War II. Today, there are only a few hundred residents living in Prescott Valley. The first humans to live in Prescott Valley were Native Americans who lived near the confluence of the Salt River and Green River rivers. The area that now includes Prescott Valley was first populated by the Yavapai People during the late 18th century. After white settlers arrived in Arizona in 1866, they began to mine silver from nearby hills. In 1870, two Spanish ranchers named José María Escobar and Francisco García discovered gold near present-day Prescott Valley. They startedmining operations here and soon developed a large empire that included properties throughout what is now Arizona and Nevada. By 1900, Escobar had abandoned his mines because he found no significant gold reserves; however, his successors continued to operate them until they were closed by government regulation in 1907. The first post office established at Prescott Valley was on July 1, 1912; it served as an outpost between Tucson and Phoenix under mail route 129A (now Interstate 10). In 1916–17, local citizens built a schoolhouse south of present-day State Route 191 for use as an elementary school; however it never opened due to lack of money or volunteers willing to help build it. In 1923–24, local citizens built another schoolhouse north of State Route 191 for use as an intermediate school; this building still stands today as part of Pryor Elementary School District No 24B (formerly known as Scottsdale Unified School District No 248). Because transportation connections were limited at that time within southeastern Arizona Territory (the area now comprising Scottsdale), most students attended schools located outside of town while their parents went about their business affairs inside town limits. In 1928–29, local citizens erected a small adobe courthouse near where State Route 191 crosses Mirror Lake before finally purchasing it from the federal government for $5 million with proceeds from sales of its mineral land holdings eastward along I-10 through Cochise County into what is now Sedona County.[1] Construction began on October 15 th , 1929,[2] but due to funding shortages caused by the Great Depression,[3] only half the courthouse—the front facade—was completed before economic conditions deteriorated so much that work stopped again altogether on February 2 nd , 1933[4]: $1 million had already been spent on construction when Franklin D Roosevelt took office promising new opportunities for jobs.[5]: With little prospect whatsoever of ever recovering those funds,[6], completion finally resumed on November 16 th , 1933[7]: just one day after his inauguration following four years since he had taken office! The final cost: $853 thousand![8]: This success story led eventually to development adjacent to original courthouse site across Mirror Lake – currently home to Vista Ridge Academy High School – which will total more than $30 million by 2020 when all original lands have been fully dedicated!
