Over time, various other businesses have cropped up around town which have helped support both local economic development and tourism growth in Prescott Valley . One such company is called “The Grapes” which operated during prohibition period between 1933-1948 A&P grocery store at 215 W Jefferson Ave., now part of NAPA Auto Parts Store In recent years there has been renewed interest within the community in supporting cultural events such as art shows or music festivals – both which help bring new life into an old foundation while also attracting tourists who enjoy experiencing traditional Arizonan experiences One significant event that took place within Prescott Valley during World War II was Operation Crossroads which led to many Americans being enlisted in service against Nazi Germany On July 18th 1945 leaders from across America gathered at The Grand Canyon National Park for a meeting where decisions about how future operations would be conducted were made Afterward many Arizonans decided they wanted their own crossroad operation set up within their city limits so they named their initiative "PrescottValleyCrossroads"
