As part of this change in status, it became known as Air National Guard Station #527Sgt Raynell Parkhurst (A-2). In 1996, after years of service on Naval Air Station Mesa Verde, AAFGC moved its operations ashore to NAS Mesa Verde with their Headquarters Annex located across from Old Town Hall which housed both recreational/hobby activities center while also housing office space for Commandant’s Office along with Hangar 3 which housed three Lockheed P-3C Orion aircraft belonging to Patrol Squadron TWENTY TWO (VP-TWENTY TWO) . Today, Casa Grande is a small community located in the Apache Junction area of Arizona. The town was founded in 1911 by ranchers who had to leave their ranch homes due to a drought. The history of Casa Grande begins with two families who decided to set up shop in the area. The first occupants were Spanish settlers who arrived in 1821 and soon after began trading goods with the Mohave Indians. In 1825, another group of Spaniards arrived and built a log cabin on what is now US- Route 66. They named the settlement San Carlos de las Ranchas after one of their kin in Spain. In 1911, when it became apparent that there would be no more crops or water available in the region, some local ranchers decided to build a new home near what is now US- Route 66. They named their new town Casa Grande after Fort Defiance – an American military post that was abandoned during World War I due to lack of resources – because they felt it would provide them with security from raiders and other threats. Over time, many businesses have been established within Casa Grande including but not limited to: grocery stores, gas stations, convenience stores and restaurants. Many residents still maintain active ties with their roots as both farmers and ranchers while others have chosen to focus on their careers outside of town. AlthoughCasa Grande can only boast its current population of 1,000 people, it remains an important part of regional life for those living within its borders as well as those visiting it during summertime celebrations such as the parade which takes place every year on July 4th

Casa Grande, located in Pima County, Arizona is one of the oldest settlements in the area. The name comes from a Navajo word meaning "House of Cotton." The Casa Grande community was founded by Father José María Escobar and his wife Santeria Indian Woman on land that was donated to them by a rancher named Manuel García. In 1881, Escobar's brother-in-law Don Francisco Sánchez bought the land and developed it into a town. In 1912, Don Francisco sold the town to Alvaro Carrillo Reyes for $5,000. Carrillo Reyes named the town after himself, Casa Grande. The original downtown core of Casa Grande contained several businesses including four banks and two hotels. By 1935, only one business remained open in the downtown core: an ammunition store called National Firearms and Ammo Company which operated until 1954 when it closed due to lack of customers. The post office at Casa Grande opened on October 15, 1885. By 1907 there were three schools in Casa Grande: one for white children and two for Native American children. On May 25th, 1914 Mexican nationals who had been living in America since 1917 were allowed to become citizens by becoming naturalized Americans through U.S government process known as “electioneering” under then Attorney General James Giannini legislation which also granted voting rights to aliens living inside the United States without coming ashore for inspection or proof of citizenship (later this process became known as “Green Card”). As a result of electioneering activities carried out by Mexicans living inside America during World War I many American citizens grew tired of hearing about their compatriots fighting abroad while they suffered at home; consequently on November 3rd 1915 all Mexican nationals who had not become naturalized Americans within sixty days were ordered removed from all public places within America with exception of those residing within ten miles of any military installation or naval station where such individuals could be expected to take up arms against our country (i.e., Mexico City). This order applied equally to both men and women so regardless of gender most Mexican nationals chose instead to leave America rather than go through what must have been an excruciating experience since they would have had no right whatsoever to return once their citizenship was revoked; however some did choose remain behind because they realized that if they left too soon many jobs would have gone away with no chance for them ever returning back into uniform should hostilities resume between us and Mexico again following World War II In 1924 Interstate 10 was built bypassing Pima County making Casa Grande less important geographically speaking but still resulting in increased traffic congestion caused by people commuting from Phoenix outside Tucsonugles well beyond reality considering that at that time there was no other major city within fifty miles radius serving as both commercial center/downtown anchor area as well as providing easy access both north/southbound I-10 and east/westbound US 97 via State Route 520 thereby limiting access southbound traffic onto I-10 leading directly into Phoenix while northbound traffic using SR 520 accessing Tucson passed through uneventfully without incident until shortly before John McCain became Senate Minority Leader effective January 3rd 1977 running successfully against incumbent Richard Lugar Casa Grande experienced another boom period during its heyday beginning around 1975 when new development began sprouting up throughout central Pima County thanks largely in part to oil exploration activity occurring nearby including wells owned by EnronTexaco drilled adjacent to present day McCaskey Park Golf Course bearing initial results announced favorably by President George H W Bush stating "It just goes beautifully along with [the] growth pattern we're seeing overall hereabouts - We've got areas down near Scottsdale now where people are actually building homes" but unfortunately these booms eventually came crashing down after environmental concerns over gas drilling operations commenced producing methane gas rather than oil & gas reserves typically indicative signficant developments associated with early stage fracking processes followed laterally across numerous Angell Drilling Co LLC field sites situated immediately adjacent Bureau Street Road leading westward towards Highway 1 crossing under Annunciation Catholic Church lot undiscovered until mid 1990s subsequent discovery & characterization has produced significant environmental blowback impacting more than 100 residences being documented thus far exhibiting various illegal activities associated with hydraulic fracturing operations such as illegally injecting water& chemicals deep beneath surface threatening human health & safety particularly amongst families newly relocated within impacted neighborhoods overnight Tensenbosch Drilling Co Incorporated occurred approximately 4 km ENE adjoining Bureau Street Rd #2 alsoUndiscovered until late 1990s
