Buckeye is a city in Pinal County, Arizona, United States. The population was 9,711 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Phoenix metropolitan area. The Buckeye community began as pioneers who arrived in 1847. Their settlement was founded on a small Indian reservation about four miles (6 km) east of present-day Buckeye. In 1851, figures from theArizona Territorial Legislature reported that there were 25 families living in what is now Buckeye and they expected to add 100 more within five years. At first, most settlers were men because women could not vote then or even today. At the time of its inception, it had two schools: one for white children and one for Native American children; no public transportation existed other than walking or horses and wagons which carried goods between farms and businesses; irrigation systems did not exist; and natural resources such as watermelons, corn, cattle and beans furnished all their needs for food production. Today’s Downtown Buckeye is built largely on land that once comprised the reservations where many pioneer families lived until they sold off their holdings to developers in recent decades. In 1861–1862 when Tucson Gold Rush started there were also over 1,000 miners operating out of Buckeyeville including some who prospected along McClintock Creek bedding near present day Scottsdale Road north of town center prior to surface mining operations beginning on October 15th 1861 by USGS Captain H W Goodspeed under lease from Dolphus Donnellan Sr., owner/operator of Temple mine northeast of townsite according to Donnellan deed record book #1 entries dated December 4th 1861 folio 5 pages 6 lines per page signed by both parties witnessed by J F Goodspeed). A post office called "Buckeye" was established at this location on November 8th 1865 due to influx of mail coming through Temple Mines during gold rush days being escorted by stagecoach drivers en route to Prescott Valley following discoveries at Gadsden Hills outside Tucson Springs although no evidence remains contemporary evidence suggests any connection between these two places although some early residents may have visited both locations while goldmining occurred

The beans were brought to Rome by sailors in the 6th century AD, and from there they spread throughout Europe. In 1614, Nicholas-Jacques Conte founded La Caffèrture du Temple in Paris, which became one of the world's first cafées. The Dutch introduced espresso machines into their homes in the 18th century, and these machines soon became popular throughout Europe. In 1795, Carlo Maria Volpi founded Pisa's Ristorante Nazionale Dei Pavoni with his wife Giuseppina della Robbia as owners and concessionaires. They served roast coffee until 1898 when they switched to instant coffee products (the first such machine being built at Pisa by Luigi Pirani). Coffee began to be exported to other countries during this time, most notably Spain where it was known as "La Espresso". In 1912, French Guiana joined Colombia as an independent country after independence from Spanish rule; this led to French Guiana becoming very rich from coffee exports. By 1930, about 50% of all Colombian coffee went through France for processing into roasted beans before reaching consumers across the globe. In 1969, Richard Nixon announced that he would not seek re-election due to health problems; however his successor Gerald Ford continued making caffeine-based drinks available for people on campaign trails throughout America as well as national cups of morning Joe every day starting on New Year's Day 1970 (a tradition still maintained today). This started what is known as "Nixonian Coffee" which was made with whole bean ground coffees sourced only from Fair Trade cooperatives who have been working together since 1978. This allowed American consumers access to high quality beans while also supporting local farmers who produce excellent coffees under tough conditions without subsidies or marketing efforts by large industrial conglomerates like Starbucks/ Dunkin' Donuts/ Jamba Juice etcetera

Buckeye, Arizona is a small town in central Arizona. The population was 611 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Phoenix metropolitan area. Buckeye began as a cattle ranch and grew to become a major cottonseed oil producer in the early 1900s. In 2006, Buckeye became one of only three towns in Arizona to be incorporated as an online community governed by citizens through an elected government. The town was named for General John E. Buckeye, who fought against Mexican forces during the Indian Wars in 1846-1847. The name has been used on various occasions since then, including by General George Armstrong Custer when he fought against the Apache Indians in 1863-1864 and by current Mayor Tom Weyant when he first won office in 2002. Buckeye is located at (33.827263, -111.915574). According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.902 square miles (2 km²), all of it land. As of 2010, there were 611 people living in Buckeye; 298 households and 171 families residing within its limits; while 281 residents were non-residents: 259 from other communities within Phoenix County; 24 from Mesa County outside of Phoenix; and 2 from Scottsdale County outside of Phoenix
On July 14, 1912, Buckeye was the site of a treaty agreement between the United States and Mexico that ended the Mexican-American War. The US also agreed to annex Arizona into the Union as part of this treaty.
