This year’s events will commence at 10am this morning with formation flyover by both USAF Lt Colonel Dennis Friesen commanding 2nd Squadron 14th Air Regiment (Red) at Wright-Patterson AFB Cleveland Heights Ohio before lunchtime terrorist threat assessment exercises by First Sergeant Michael Pappas with 3rd Squadron 506th Avionics Group located at Beechcraft A-36 Intruder near Dayton OH until approximately 5pm when parade begins on Main Street followed by live music beginning at 7pm by Medina Valley Band

Buckeye, Arizona is a small town in Pima County, Arizona. The population was 4,393 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Tucson metropolitan area and is located on the Tucson-Pima County line. The Buckeye post office was established in 1912 and closed in 1969. The first settlers in what would become Buckeye were Anna and John Cook who arrived from Illinois around 1871. They built a cabin on private land that still stands today. It wasn't until 1915 when Bud White, an electrical lineman by trade, came to the area looking for land to build his rancho on. He found some good land but no water so he decided to go ahead with building his rancho anyway. From 1916 until 1920 there were only six families living in Buckeye; four men and two women. In 1916 Alma Cook married George Hutton who had also come from Illinois a few years earlier as a miner and rancher placerist/ geological Surveyor working for General Mining District #1 (now Apacheland). Alma's father had been killed during the Mexican-American War while serving with Major Custer's cavalry Regiment at Resaca de la Palma outside of Tucson Mexico Territory which left her mother sole provider of family income until she remarried about 1919 when she became Mrs Hutton Bosworth who had moved from Prescott Arizona to live near Los Alamos National Laboratory where she worked as an Analytical chemist before her death in 1978 aged 91 years old..George Hutton died April 2nd, 1942 aged 83 years old in Buckeye while they were married 54 years... Alma Cook continued to live alone until her death on October 3rd, 1984 aged 103 years old having outlived all three of her husbands by almost sixty five years!

Today, Buckeye is a historic community that has seen many changes over the years. In 1916, it was made a city by vote of the people, and it has since grown rapidly into one of the largest cities in Arizona. The economy is based largely on agriculture, but there are also a number of businesses located within walking distance of each other. There are also plenty of cultural attractions available here, including an art museum and historical district that contains a number of ancient buildings dating back to the 1800s.

In 1912, a school was built in Buckeye, and it served as the county seat from 1913 to 1915. The Buckeye Dam was completed in 1930, and it helped improve water supplies for the town. In 1955, Buckeye became a city.
