On November 6th, 2017, the US Air Force deployed a group of 506 surplus MQ-1 Predator drones worth $600 million to Jordan during Operation Inherent Resolve against ISIS militants in Syria. This was part of a larger deployment that also included 1,500 gallons of water and 8 munitions launchers for use against targets inside Syria.

Avondale is a small town in Arizonas 10th Congressional District. It was first settled in the 1870s and located on the east side of the Salt River Valley. The town has a population of about 3,000 people and it is one of the most rural towns in Arizona. The economy is based primarily on agriculture and ranching. There are also some small businesses in Avondale that provide services such as banking, health care, and retail sales. The racial makeup of Avondale is mostly white (92%) with some Hispanic (4%) and black residents. About 5% of the population is Asian or Pacific Islander. Most residents are Protestant (95%). There are no public schools in Avondale, but there are private schools that serve students from neighboring towns. There was an attempt to make Avondale into a city by petitioning for incorporation in 1907, but this effort failed to receive enough signatures to be placed on the ballot. In 2000, there was an effort to place a measure to create a city government at the local level, but this measure failed to receive enough votes to be placed on the ballot either time around. Residents of Avondale have voted against adopting any new laws since 2002 without ever achieving passage through their local legislatures.

Avondale is a small town in Arizona, located about 20 miles south of Phoenix. It was founded in 1908 by people who came from the adjacent village of Gilbert. The original settlers were farmers and their families. The town became a mining community during the Gold Rush of 1849-1852. After the discovery of gold, Avondale grew rapidly as miners arrived from all over the country to find riches. In 1912, Avondale was incorporated as a city. By 1920, it had a population of 3,000 people and it remained an agricultural center until World War II when its prosperity increased due to its strategic location for military bases and munitions plants. At that time, Avondale also became one of the most prosperous cities in Arizona with a high-rise housing development and several thousand jobs. However, after the war ended, economic success declined as timber production decreased and residents lost interest in developing their cityscape; instead they concentrated on their farmssteads around town. Despite these challenges, however, through public effort and private investmentAvondale has slowly regained its former glory as one of Arizona's most important cities – home to major businesses such as Microsoft (later changed to Microsoft Corp.), Intel (now Intel), Adobe Systems Inc., Pfizer Inc., Wyndham Worldwide Resorts Corporation (now Marriott International), Tempe Municipal Airport (temporary home to Airways America Airlines), Mesa Community College District headquarters building (currently used by University Microsystems) –Avondale remains an important cultural center with many famous buildings including: The First National Bank Building (1912); Tatum House (1924); Masonic Temple No 2A 1955; John Waddell Arena 1962; Phoenix Suns basketball arena 1964-1996; Donnelly Center forthe Arts 1998-present The history of Avondale began with early settlers who came from Gilbert Village in 1887. These pioneers were farmers who decided to move into this area because there was plenty of land available for farming after gold was discovered near Apache Junction in 1849. After finding some gold nuggets at Apache Spring on July 8th, 1851 the first group led by George Prentiss set out on horseback for what they thought would be an easy task - Mining Gold! They didn't realize how difficult it would be since no one had ever done this before! After traveling day and night they finally reached Apache Junction where they found some good veins but still couldn't find any gold! This made George very discouraged so he went back home without further ado! However his family wasn't discourage though - They knew that this could be just another opportunity like all the others that had passed them by before them so they started looking for other opportunities too! Meanwhile back at Gilbert Village everything seemed normal until August 15th when four men rode into town on horseback claiming they had found valuable minerals worth $5 per tonne! This news spread quickly throughtout Gilbert Village because everyone wanted some!! So regardless if you were sleeping or not you woke up bright eyed and bushytailed because soon everyone knew about this new discovery!!! From then on things got interesting because now not only did everybody want access to these minerals but also companies wanted to buy them up! As business grew so did prices which caused inflationary problems across society!! Anyway back at Gilbert Village everything seemed normal again until November 1st when two more men riding horses into town brought word that there must have been another mine nearby because suddenly everyone’s hair stood on end!!! They estimated that there must be 30 tons moreGold than where they were at earlier that day !! But guess what? It actually wasn’t true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And here we are today living proof that even hindsight is 20/20!!! Anyway back at Gilbert Village life continued pretty much same way until January 4th 1872 when James Irvine came overland from Prescott Valley via Stagecoach Pass carrying 640 acres (!), comprising present day Avondale township!, including part of downtown Phoenix When James Irvine arrived he found many people living near Apache Junction already knowing about his diamonds so he decided against moving right away since he didn’t want any competition He took his time thinking things over before making his decision which led him eventually decide against moving altogether James Irvine lived heretil 1886 while various other groups moved intoAVONDALE during those years including Donnybrook silver seekers & prospectors led by Capt Tom Donnellan(1868-1927) & Eamonn Byrnes(1869-) During 1886 control passed between Donnybrook interests & Ayrshire Mines Co.(Ayrshire mines amalgamated with Canadian Pacific Railway Co.)
