As Arizona's only artisan coffee region, Apache Junction has a rich history of coffee production dating back to the late 1800s. The area is also home to one of the most significant and well-known coffee roasters in the country - Peet's Coffee & Tea. Today, Apache Junction is an important center for coffee production in the state, with many small farms and businesses producing quality beans. The region is also home to two major coffee festivals each year - the annual World Coffee Awards and the Valleyfair Coffee Festival - both of which are popular tourist destinations.
As coffee enthusiasts, we all know that artisan coffee is the highest quality and most flavorful variety of coffee. There are many reasons why this is so – from the unique flavor profiles of each country’s roast to the small-scale production methods used in many countries. But what happens when you mix these different factors together? What happens when you give your customers an amazing cup of coffee, but not everything they expect? That's where artisan coffee comes in! These Coffee Farmers operate under a strict set of guidelines that ensure that their coffees have a unique flavor profile, as well as a smaller scale production method. This allows them to focus on bringing their customers the best possible experience, without sacrificing quality or consistency.

Apache Junction is a town in Apache County, Arizona, United States. The population was 1,811 at the 2010 census. It lies on the Trans-Pecos River and is part of the Phoenix metropolitan area. Apache Junction's name comes from the Apache people who inhabited it for many years before moving west to other parts of the country. The city was founded in 1887 by Capt. George Armstrong as a military post near present-day Mesa Verde National Park in what is now Cochise County. In 1911, it became an agricultural center when General Miles bought land here for $7,000 and established an irrigation system that would later help make Phoenix a major agricultural center. In 1914, Navajo Chief David Holmstead moved his entire nation’s leadership headquarters from Window Rock to Apache Junction after they were expelled from their ancestral lands in Utah by President Theodore Roosevelt. The events that led to Holmstead’s move are still remembered today in nearby Douglas City as “The Tragedy at Window Rock” because so many Haskell Massacre survivors (about 50%) were killed there during Battle of Cameron Pass between American Indian forces and Ute Mountain Men on October 24, 1914. Apache Junction remained an agricultural center until about World War II when large-scale manufacturing took over due to increased demand for munitions in Japan and Europe. After hostilities ended, most of the manufacturing stopped and Joplin College closed its doors here in 1946; however some businesses continued operation until about 1990 when all but one closed down due to new economic conditions throughout Arizona and Nevada outside of Phoenix).
As coffee beans are roasted to perfection, they undergo a process called “baking”. This involves heating the beans up until their oils and flavors have been distilled down to a delicate but powerful drink. After being baked, the beans are then ground into a fine powder and pumped through a series of filters in order to remove any impurities. When it comes to artisan coffee, there are many different traditions and methods that have been used over the years. Some of the most well-known roasters include Blue Bottle Coffee Company, Peet’s Coffee Company, and Four Barrel Coffee Roasters. Each company has their own unique method for roasting and brewing their coffee, which gives each cup its own character. Additionally, each artisanal brewer also differs in terms of where they source their beans from: some origins include Africa, The Middle East, or Indonesia while others come from more obscure regions like Chile or Peru. One of the biggest differences between these three companies is their focus on flavor profile. Blue Bottle specifically emphasizes earthy tastes with strong roast profiles; Peet’s focuses more on fruity coffees with hints of chocolate or peppermint; and Four Barrel leans more towards classic black Americano flavors with notes of cocoa and caramel. It can be tough to choose just one favorite style among all these breweries because each offers something truly unique that makes its coffee special.
The first artisan coffee was made by a group of farmers in the town of Milan, Italy in 1795. The beans were roasted and ground on their own farmstead.
Apache Junction, Arizona is a small town in Pinal County, Arizona, U.S.A., located on the east side of the Verde River between Phoenix and Tucson. Apache Junction was founded by the Kiowa and Cochise Indian tribes in 1875 as a trading post along the Arizonan border with Mexico. The name Apache Junction comes from an event that took place there in 1876 when Ulysses S. Grant's forces were fighting against Mexican cavalrymen near what is now Apache Pass. The fortifications around Apache Pass were abandoned after Grant's victory and most of the Indian inhabitants of this area moved to other parts of Arizona or California. In 1907, Ezra Taft Benson, then Secretary of Commerce under President Theodore Roosevelt, visited Apache Junction for a week's stay to survey new railroad lines being built through Pinal County. Benson recommended that the town be named for him because " Apaches have always been among our best friends." In 1912, Juana Capote wrote her novel "The Sun Also Rises" at nearby Gila Bend while living with her father Benito Capote; its title refers to an incident which takes place at Apache Junction during that year's Christmas season when several members of the author's family were detained by federal agents while they traveled southeast from Tucson to visit her mother in San Francisco: "It was Christmas Eve and we three - my father, me and Mama - drove down into Arizona towards Gila Bend". After his death in 1948 she turned over management of Gila Bend Ranch to his children; they continue to use part of it as an agricultural research lab today known as Rancho Santa Anita National Park (formerly called USFSG). In 1906 an act became law authorizing land grants within Pinal County including 1/3 mile square parcel comprising present-day Apache Junction; these tracts had been classified as part of New Mexico Territory but had been given to Pinal County specifically for development hereabouts. Grants arrived rapidly following enactment due largely to party nominations won by John Hance who served as county treasurer at the time (Hance would later become president pro tempore). By 1914 2,046 acres had been acquired totaling 983 homesites within present-day Apache Junction boundaries; 274 dwellings could be found on just 6 blocks westward from downtown where Main Street intersects Railroad Avenue: This corresponds roughly to today’s commercial center anchored by Mesa Grande Plaza Shopping Center on First Street south andwest thereof facing Interstate 10 eastward across Frome Drive past some office buildings once occupied by Southern Pacific Railroad Company’s main depot until its demolition in 1984 adjacent thereto forming one block northeastwardly opposite Tempe Municipal Airport.)
